Yup! As far as I know only things that changed for 2024 were the colors.

I like the stock key.....Flip key is ok, anything but a keyless fob.

the flip key is significantly bulkier than the stock key, but it's too much fun to fiddle with haha

Where’s you get the motorcycle storage bag?
@SpencerDesmarais Жыл бұрын
Bags came from adventure spec (I have some of their panniers on my F800GS) and they’re mounted onto a custom-ish molle panel. Video with links in the description here: Adding Molle Storage Bags and Panel to the Grom! | 2023 Grom Build Part 18 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqPVppekj9eDnpI

What kind of locks do you use for your bikes? I like the concept of a flip key but I keep the locks to my bike on a separate keychain since I'm already carrying it around.

So if I order the stock flip key that you're mentioning in this video, will my 2022 Grom's key work with it, so long as I get a key maker to cut the new key to my stock key? Am I understanding this correctly? I don't want to make this purchase to then later realize that this new key won't work. Thanks in advance! Oh, and I'm enjoying your videos, so thank you!

Yeah, exactly. It comes as a blank, ready to be cut by a locksmith or other shop to the same shape as your existing keys. Existing keys still work exactly like they did before, you aren't replacing the cylinders and re-keying or anything, just adding a 3rd key to your collection. Thanks for watching!

Didn't know about the flip key! Guess I'm copying another one of your mods. I got the kenimoto saddle bags for the grom and they're okay. I just haven't found a tail rack or saddle bag I actually like. Seems like your custom approach is the best route.

I'm struggling with the tail rack, too. They all stick out so far back and block the brake lights. Just not a fan of all the ones I've seen. I'm still really happy with my side bags, though! Fits my camera, drone, water bottle, whatever I've seemed to need really really well. Not giant for touring use or whatever but saves me from bringing a backpack in a lot of situations.
