@@divpan1I ended up selling mine as couldnt get enough free power on my second serve with it 😢 I miss how they play off the ground though. Feel is unreal. Ended up trying the pure drive 98’s for a bit and they were awesome with great power and obscene kick on serves but settled on the new gravity mp with a leather grip.

The extreme tour in your case would solve all the 1 stars with 2,5 grams of lead at 12 and 5 grams behind the butt cap. Then you have the feel and touch but also the plow and stability.

I have 3 grams evenly distributed at 3/9 on all my Extreme Tours. It’s much better that way. I added a leather grip to one of them, which added 12grams but I left stock grips on the others because I didn’t love it with the leather on. Perhaps 5g under the butt cap would have been better. Anyways, I was focusing on the 3 rackets in stock form for this review.

@@simmstennis I'm always careful with adding weight at 3 and 9. Increasing swing weight is fine, but increasing twist weight can have negative effects on manoeuvrability. But i agree that the tour needs customization

After lead modifications to 10 and 2 and weight to the handle, IMO the Extreme Tour is far better than the Vcore98 in all areas. Just goes to show that we're all different.

I played with the new Extreme Tour this last week. Preferred it over the previous version. Has a lot of the same qualities I like in the Pure Aero VS. If there's a difference in topspin I don't find it noticeable. I'm probably going to buy the new Extreme Tour. Like the Pure Aero VS, it's just a lot of fun to play with. I don't like the extra swingweight they've added to the Pure Aero 98.

sv95 is still the king of the vcores, if you havent tried this first version, you are missing out its a weapon on every shot for its size.

After four classes with the Pure Aero 98, I'm getting worried. My tennis elbow has flared up. The VS seems noticeably more arm friendly IMO. I might go back to using the Pure Aero VS as it didn't seem to cause this kind of elbow pain. I will say that my one handed backhand has been fantastic with the 98. But I might lean toward the VS on forehand.

How would you compare the extreme tour and the aero 98 with the vcore 95? I am a base-liner who hits with topspin and a one handed backhand. Don’t like stiff feeling rackets.

If you don’t like stiff rackets the Vcore 95 will be the more plush feeling of that bunch, followed by the ET. If you move well I’d go with the Vcore 95. If you need a little more forgiveness I’d go with the ET.

nice video, mate! I’ve been waiting for someone to compare these rackets for a couple weeks. I currently play with the Vcore pro 100, and I love its forgiveness, comfort and control. But I feel like Im lacking weight of shot and control when hitting more aggressive shots inside the court. Started to demo the vcore 98 this week and I liked it so far, my only struggle is to flat out shots sometimes, especially on the forehand side, I feel like some balls just fly away, which doesnt halppen with my current stick. Lets see if I get used to it overtime. Keep up with the reviews, love it!

I picked up tennis this last year. I tried a couple different rackets(regular Pure Aero, Pure Strike) before getting the Pure Aero VS. I was interested in the new VCore but love my VS so much that I ended up ordering the Pure Aero 98. I recently bought an Extreme Tour and I also really like that racket. Great feel. Love serving with it. But it's a little easier to put away forehand winners with the Pure Aero VS/98. Haven't hit the VCore but I'm sure it's fantastic. The Pure Aero is my choice but I would gladly play with any of these three.

@@AlexanderAndreev1799 I've only played with the 98 a couple times. It has a little more weight and maybe a little more feel. The VS, being lighter, might retain a little extra whippiness. Outside of that, they play pretty much the same IMO. It's nice to have the new one but you don't need to rush out and spend money if you already have the VS. Then again, I strung the 98 a little lower(47lbs) as opposed to the VS(51lbs). If they're strung the same, the difference might even be smaller.
