Lol it's just a ton of Jazz and Big Band and then after Revolver? Experimental Rock, Soul, Glam Rock, Prog Rock, fucking HEAVY METAL, and that's only in the first 10 years after Revolver. Even if you think the Beatles are overrated, you have to acknowledge that they changed EVERYTHING.

No it isn't. For me 1969 is such a tough year because of how amazing and important TCOTCK and Abbey Road are. Impossible to chose between the two but I'd say the King Crimson deserved the spot on that one

This list would've been different if it was based on actual statistics on album sales. I expected the best album of 1967 to be Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band because it's the most well-known from that year. It seems like this list is oriented towards men that listen to indie and alternative music.

Last I checked Thriller is #3 for 1982, behind The Dreaming by Kate Bush and Pornography by The Cure, with a rating of 4.00, and is #165 of all time. All three of those records are incredible and very different from each other, displaying the creative variety of the '80's

I would choose 1970: Miles Davis - Bitches Brew or Led Zeppelin - 3, 1971: Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers, 1972: Genesis - Foxtrot. Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway would also be a strong candidate for 1974.
