Important Question: when I run the spreadsheet, Scan unlimited isn’t able to match the upc code between supplier and Amazon, and when i checked a specific product I found that UPC code “is different” for the exact same product, I have a lot of products having this same problem and I’m sure you have the solution, please tell us how I can get around this issue and solve it, thanks in advance

It looks at the data from the Amazon listing. It finds the listing and then its pulls the info from Amazon.

A lot of them have a product list especially if they offer dropshipping. If not, then you can have a VA build a list or use a software like Octaparse.

Different software. Jungle scout has a ton of features but mainly for product research with private label. Scan unlimited is just to scan product files from wholesale suppliers.

this might be a silly question as im only a beginner and in the research phase of this business model, but what's the reason someone with a higher price winning the buy box over someone who is still doing fba with a cheaper price for the product you was showing, is it a regional and location thing or is there other reasons

There are many factors so it's not always clear cut. I can be because of price, location, seller feedback, account health etc.

You would suggest to stay away from FBA product listings when doing drop shipping from wholesalers, right?

It depends. As a general rule, it's harder to compete against FBA since they can usually sell cheaper and FBA usually has faster shipping which is a huge rule in deciding who gets the Buy Box. If you can match the FBA seller then I would do it. Also look at the keepa chart to see the history of the Buy Box and if it was ever held by FBM. You can also see how much inventory the FBA sellers have and maybe they are low on stock.

A lot of wholesalers offer a spreadsheet. If you don't see it in your account resources, shoot your supplier an email.

They ask for your account mws token and your seller id. This information is used to list products to your account and create the connection with the software. They don’t have access to your money or other information and you can delete or modify the access in your app settings in your account. Hope this helps.

Have you noticed, scan-unlimited give wrong data when item is actually sold as a pack, one still has to use Amazon FBA calculator to be fully sure, its not a perfect tool :-(

@@Noah_Mincis Just to elaborate on this, Scan Unlimited is showing Profit based on the single unit cost, but on Amazon its being sold as pack of 6, thus it should multiple unit price with 6 and calculate the profit based on that. I have to clean the data based on this anomaly over and over again :-(

@@luft_fafe so that is dependent on your sheet price though. Usually my supplier gives me a price list with the displayed price for one unit and the amazon listing is for a bundle. I just adjust it but also usually bundles don’t have the same UPC code as the individual unit. If it is sold as a two pack (or six) retail than it should be sold that way wholesale if the UPC codes are the same.
