Benjamin J Harvey discusses a powerful analogy that makes clear the value of having a vision, mission and purpose.
1️⃣ Mission
Picture a path that you’re going to be journeying through for your life. This path represents your mission. It is the way to where you want to get to.
2️⃣ Vision
In this analogy, your path leads all the way out to a great red sun. The sun stands for your vision. Your path leads all the way to your vision.
3️⃣ Purpose
Down at the bottom, you will see a question mark. The question mark represents your purpose in life. Why are you getting on this journey? Why do you what you do?
4️⃣ Values
The compass in the video symbolises our values in life. It lets you know whether or not you’re on path or off your path.
5️⃣ Goals
The green signposts stand for your goals in life. They let you know that you are progressing in the right direction. Your goals should be your progress pillars and not the final destination.
6️⃣ Message
Your message is the whole meaning of what it is that you do. This will become your message in life.
