Great meeting it's also great to put a face to a name. I see Whip's name on live streams. It happens a lot on live streams we have a conversation with folks but have never seen their face. So now I will remember who Whip is. Once again it was a great conversation between both of you. I really like this kind of video.

Whip, trickle filters act like overhead sumps and you don't have to drill the tank and it takes less juice to run. Discussion in Enjoying Cichlids, ed. by Ad Konings. I ever get my 8'× 2' ×2' plywood tank built I'll DIY a trickle filter, .

I got 2 of the 5.5 gallon portrait tanks off fb market place, and one of them was kinda cruddy, missing things. one I kept my betta in and when Bennie passed on I decided to remove the back filter section for more usable swim space and figured I would keep that one then I removed the back on the second one, kept both the little pumps, now I use the pump for removing water from my 20 long and my 55 stuck a hose from lowes on it and shoot it out the window while my husband waters the gardens with it, then when I fill I have a shorter tube off the siphon water changer and stick the little pump in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and refill the tanks with that, only bucket brigading with a 2.5 gallon bucket. best thing is that the little pump has a flow control on it. I figured this out while trying to go to sleep one night knowing I had to do a water change on the 55 the next day! 😅. plus I now have x a back up pump also, lol. actually I'm using that in a 10 gallon shrimp tank to keep the water moving since I'm using a very small sponge filter... so many uses for those little tiny pumps, and on max they move some water!!

Anytime you make a change tske a picture and set a timer. I'm kinda off grid. Most of the time power is unreliable at best. Use the smart phone to remind your self where you were v.s. where you want to be.

Nice video. Pls can anyone help me. I just got a used 4 foot 90 gallon tank with metal stand. The previous owner said, the tank and stand are just 4 month old. I m a little worried abt the thickness of the metal stand, its just an inch thick which seems a little thin and the tank wobbles on the stand, its without water. I filled the tank with water for a day to check for leaks, luckily no leaks, but it still wobbled a bit. I stay in an apartment in New Jersey with good even flooring.
