I bought the 1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica ampoule and I wasn't impressed. I didn't repurchased it. I'm sticking with the Instree mugwort ampoule which works better for my sensitive, damaged skin. Thank you for another great video Yuhee!

Hi Manon! Yes it is SKIN1004's one of the most viral products that didn't quite live up to the hype for me too. Mugwort is a great ingredient for sensitive skin and so is CICA. Skincare is so personal, I think mugwort must be the right match for you. I’m so glad you’ve found the perfect ingredients and products for your skin. I know your dedication to your skin care, so this is fantastic, great job! I love mugwort too 🙂

I've been using the Centella Asiatica ampoule, it's fine, won't be repurchasing. I'm waiting for the Probio Cica cream and eye cream in the mail, can't wait! For next summer I'm trying the sun serum, I didn't have time this summer, there won't be much sun here in Norway until April 😅

Using Tone Brightening Ampoule + Poremizing Ampoule in morning and Poremizing Ampoule + Pro Bio Cica Ampoule in the evening now in 2 weeks, and my workmates starts complementing my skin, Did not regret buying these all in 100ml sizes. Next Target would be their Hyalu cica sunfit serum sunscreen as I have heard a lot of good things about that sunscreen,

I've had the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Watergel Sheet Ampoule Mask and loved it so much! I wanted to buy the Centella Ampoule, but seeing it in the so-so category, I now want to see if there is any mini version for me to try 😅 I've also had the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, which I was very wary of at the beginning, but ended up loving it and is now on my shopping list for 2025 ❤ The Light Cleansing Oil was really nice for me, it was especially nice when I had breakouts as it was very soothing. Thank you so much for reviewing so many SKIN1004 products ❤

Also had the clay stick mask...oh boy I can't agree more 😅 It was nice and smooth on the first use, but once I got to the second and third uses, the particles were stuck (?) somehow in the stick and were scratching my skin 😢 It was more on the drying side, so I would say a big NO for dry and sensitive skin types. I think it would be good for combo and oily skin types, just make sure you get any stuck exfoliating particles on the stick before applying 😅 I also thought the amount of product is not good. You might get several uses out of it, but would rather go for clay masks you can apply from a tube/container.

I love Skin1004! My favorite I had tried and use to this day are the Probio- Enrich Cream, Essese Toner, Hyalu water-fit sunblock, and my favorite of all (that I have tried) is the Tone Brightening Capsule Ampule. I layer is with the Jumiso Snail 95+ as my deep drink of moisture before I add my moisturizer.

Hands down my fav SKIN1004 product is the Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum. I was happy they came out with a 100ml size. I tried the oil cleanser and I could not get past the smell. I prefer my products free of fragrance. I'm interested in trying the Tone Brightening Ampule. Been eyeing that product for a while now.

Ahhh good point. You have a dry skin though my friend. I explained that this is not for the skin type the brand designed it for, so your case is a bit different. Did you not find it scratchy though as you keep using it..?

Just soaking in skin1004 sheets mask and this popped up 😂. For my dry mature skin - niacinamide is a no no - it dries the skin, I didn’t know why my skin doesn’t like the toner, but as soon as I saw that there is niacinamide in the ingredients l. Aldo I absolutely wouldn’t buy an eye cream with niacinamide. Also no chemical sunscreen for me. I love the ampoule. I liked the cleansing oil though, but it has a fragrance in it, so not repurchasing. Pore minimizing toner - somehow not my favorite. Glycolic acid is better for me for pore minimizing. I really liked cream cleanser though.

Thanks very much for sharing. Are you sure that it's niacinamide that's causing dryness? Unless the concentration is high, I would question that it may be something else..? I want to try SKIN1004 probio cica line but when i check ingredient list on INCIdecoder....it has lauric acid (showing comedogenicity 4)in it. So i'm quite confuse whether to buy it or not as i have dry+active acne+sensitive skin. Please suggest should i try as i really want to add this Probio cica line for my barrier strengthening.

Thank you for your request, I'll try my best to cover some of those brands that you mentioned. You are one amazing, dedicated skincare enthusiast my friend, so good that you're searching up to take good care of your skin! Looking at the probio-cica ampoule ingredients list, lauric acid is at the very bottom, so I don't think that should hold you up from trying it. Even though I am not an expert, I would say yes, try it for barrier-strengthening :)

@@oneeyebeauty No, you need at lease 10 to 12 swipes to cover the area. I tested on my arms, even with 10 layers I only able to used 1/4 of recommended amount. There is a video by lab Muffin Beauty Science than explained why spray and stick sunscreens are not reliable. I understand why the Sun Stick is popular, it have very smooth and silky texture, and looks matte on the skin, maybe it would be a good makeup base?
