This (and her other channel) are the only videos I immediately watch as soon as a new video comes out. I will drop whatever I'm doing to watch. I just completely vibe with the calm, cozy, nature-inspired content from Annabel. I don't even practice witchcraft, but I so appreciate her artistry and creativity. But kudos to her for getting up and getting back at it after being brought down by negative comments. I don't know if I could do it. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there again and again knowing that you're making yourself a target for negativity. I wish people would think about the person behind the videos that they flippantly insult in the comments. I don't want to see another artist quit their craft because of unhappy people lashing out. The world needs art of all kinds to connect, heal, and process. Sharing your art is one of the most vulnerable things a person can do, and to be a critic is to put up a hard exterior and shut people out. Sometimes I wonder if the critics aren't threatened by the vulnerability of artists. They don't know how to let their guard down and share their creativity, so they have to act like they are above it all. Anyways, to all the makers, creators, and artists out there: Keep shining.

This was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. Thank you for this wonderful recipe and the time and effort and energy that you put into these videos ❤️

I have to tell you I haven’t been following long but you have an endearing energy. This video though melts my heart for some reason. I don’t know if it’s the connection that my mother always prepared amazing meals but her forte was baking. She passed away two years ago but I can still smell her, she smelled like flour and sugar you might say. There is something about the way you are putting the love into this apple pie that makes me feel like a child. Your soft voice and gentle hands and the way you tenderly go about it makes me feel like I can taste it. The essence that comes off this particular video is remarkable and perhaps part of that is the pain you suffered in the midst of the making. It’s like all of life went into this creation of an apple pie. Thank you for your open heart, I can see you perfectly!

I’m a horrible cook, cannot cook, cannot bake at all. I decided to try this. It also took me three days, as I was slow, but it turned out wonderful. Everyone that tried it loved it! I Completely surprised myself. The only differences were same as noted below. I used 10 Granny Smiths and had a lot more apples than you, but It came out great anyway, plus I couldn’t stop eating them either. I also wasn’t sure about the dark or light brown sugar so I also mixed half and half, it turned out great. I used cinnamon sugar for my crust as you suggested, my crust was a dark brown color but it was soooo good. Also, I didn’t have any extra crust for decorations but I was so amazed at how delicious it turned out. I’m going to start another one right now for Thanksgiving…hope it turns out as good as the first one. I’m telling you if I can make it turn out great, anyone can. My comments are similar to the person who posted below. I was also worried about the sorry, as I had no idea what a slurry was, but followed directions and it was all fine. I kept thinking I was crazy to try such a difficult recipe but it actually really wasn’t that hard so great directions! Thank you for sharing this recipe!I’m going to go start peeling apples now!

I made this incredible pie following your first video. It was exactly what I needed after being quite overwhelmed by life. This pie making allowed me to focus on something beautiful and create art. I made the braids and ribbons as well as oak leaves and acorn decorations! Absolutely stunning. We had company over and just after I put the pie in the oven sparks erupted from the bottom element breaking! My girlfriend and I looked at each other and after getting the oven off wrapped up the pie and put it straight into the freezer. Even though we haven’t even tasted it yet I am so happy. Thank you for a wonderful experience and the joy you helped us create as we laughed at the craziness. Once we get a working oven it is the first thing we are cooking! 😃

We did it! We finally got around to making the apple pie! We loved this crust recipe for our berry pie, which we commented about last month, but this apple pie was literally the best we've ever had, and our husband agrees! The only minor changes I made was a sprinkle of clove in the dough and an extra 1/4 cup of oats in the crumble because I like that little extra bite. Everything else was step by step exactly how you did it and it was amazing. Thank you so much for this recipe! :) Can't wait to make another for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I tried your recipe last weekend and I am so happy this was my first apple pie ever! Everybody loved it, and your instructions were very clear and helpful :-) Very special and scrumptious!!! I would personally prefer it a little less sweet so I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time I make it. Also the apples seemed too many, at least for the tart pan I was using. Great recipe, thank you so much!

Yet again, your recipe wowed! The only thing I do differently is half the flour in the topping and double the oats, but that's just because I prefer more oat chew. I'm fine with equal parts too. And there's a good possibility my ratios of seasonings are different, because I just estimate. I cook so often, I'm pretty good at guessing how much I need of each herb/spice most of the time. This pie is so much work... but it's SOOO worth it!!

So I made this apple pie for Mabon 2022. I love it. It tastes amazing. I had an abundance of apples from 10 quite large granny smith apples, but it was worth it. Since it was so much, I had to quickly make a second pie. My mom and dad say its a little too sweet but thats OK. I like it and I added sigils, intention, and reiki/magick into it and the final last ingredient-love. Its a good pie. I will make it again next year :) One thing, I saw a lot of the jelly runoff bubbling on the bottom of the oven. I got the result that others have commented, it was too runny with liquid but for me, as it cooled down it settled down and became less runny. So it didn't really stick together as a slice, but it tastes so good. This is my first pie ever so yay!!!
