Excellent information here, gentlemen. Yes, Ouachita has been more difficult lately due to dropping water temps (yesterday it was between 56-59° depending on location). Lots of steep bluffs and rocky points, though. Will be on it again tomorrow and currently have at least two different jig combos tied on. Y'all stay safe out there. 👍🇺🇸

Good info but I'm in Florida don't have the bluff walls. How would I fish it. Grass is still prevalent

Great question, thanks for asking. - I have a lake I fish that is similar to florida lakes. Shallow and flat with submerged grass. A couple of ways to fish them, one being to fish the edges of the grass and keep the jig on the bottom and swim it slow. The second I like is to swim it over the grass or try to keep the jig in the higher part of the water column. Still a steady to slow retrieve. Then the last is to stroke the jig. Let the jig go to the bottom. Then pull up on your rod hard. Then let it go back down. Matt has a video of this on his channel. Search Matt Stefan stroking a jig technique. You are a has-been which is odd because you never were a here-now. Try getting out of that craphole you shoot videos from and into a boat.
