The BEST Bannerlord Mod List That WORKS

A quick note - Banner Kings should be optional as it tends to be the most problematic when it comes to crashing. I left it on the list because I was able to get about 20 hours into a campaign with only 3 - 4 crashes, then had the save file go bad so be aware. The list is still very fun without BK!

Crash Alert! I haven't thoroughly tested everything, but RBM and Better Smithing together were giving a 100% crash rate on crafting Menavlions. Other polearms worked fine, but selecting Menavlion head would crash.

i think its because the specific version of RBM he has downloaded is intended for bannerlord 1.1.2

@@bappo147 it is as i was running all the same mods with later more updated versions and did not crash also noticed his before native mods were out of date and due to the changes to the game they will error out a lot more thus causing other mods orders to not work right i was having the same issue about 3 patches ago as in 3 before full version got so bad i deleted everything including the game as i was that pissed off with it and the reason the speed up one causes crashes is due to the game having issues reacting to the speed the same thing used to happen with warband edits to the games speed this is one of the reasons they made it slower in bannerlord so it was not happening as much as the game has more time to adapt and change things on the map after things happen

also, the price you crafted will be cheaper when you sell. what i do is. i turn off RBM when ido smithing. then turn on when battle. ez

Man, mods are so addicting... You start adding little by little into your game until everything you do causes a crash, and you have to roll back and start analyzing everything, it can be so frustrating, but oh so satisfying when it all comes together... Having a modlist ready like this that works, has tips on configuration and warnings is very nice. Awesome video =)

Yeah man, the mods make the game better. I was playing vanilla on hard settings it got boring. I did a lot wrong but still thrived. The mods are annoying bc I was a console person. About to delete all start over and try to do this campaign.

You have no idea how much this helps, I just got started into modding bannerlord for the first time a couple of days ago and its been a nightmare! I'm talking constant crashes, I'd be playing for like 20 min thinking everything is okay then all of a sudden my whole comp crashes. Only happens on bannerlord when its modded up, I've been taking mods off 1 by 1 till im getting a more stable game but this video came out right on time :P . Ive been binging most of ur vids, keep up the great content! :D

Thanks for watching! Even with a solid list, the game will still crash from time to time so make sure you turn up autosave so you don't lose much progress. I was playing vanilla last night and it crashed on me lol so maybe it's not even the mods and just the base game!

Get the better time mod and test your mod list by running the game at the maximum speed for five minutes adding each mod one at a time. I found that any increase death mod crashed my game in late game.

Depending on the crash type you can actually see which mod is causing the crash. This helped immensely with my modding on the game. Hope it helps!

RTS Camera is a mod I can't live without. It's super good for ordering units in RBM campaigns, and you can also use it to take control of a unit after your character falls in battle.

About 9 months ago I got HEAVILY into this game for the first time and went with 1.0.1 and spent 2-3 days getting different mods tested, finding the correct versions. Sifting through countless change logs and countless previous version downloads putting together my 6-8 mod game. The problem is that no mods really fix what's fundamentally wrong with Bannerlord. You can redo the map. You can reskin units. You can tack on mechanics. You can add more screens to click through. However none of them really fix the fact that Bannerlord is a battle simulator and not much else and has no actual kingdom management at endgame.

One issue I've ran with RBM, if you are using their troop overhaul, which is great, sometimes a javelin throw in the back shield causes a crash.

Yeah my little warband lets you create your own custom troop tree. I've had issues with crashing before when I tried to use it, so maybe don't use mods that add new items or gear to the game if you're going to use MLWB

I manually install my mods because I couldn't get Nexus to work consistently so it's hard for me to keep track what mods are up to do and which don't so I often get a sleeper mod that kills my save whenever the game get's updated. Thanks for the mod list, I'll be sure to use this as a basis.

I can understand why many people like mods for the game, and why the base game might seem a bit bare and boring once you have gotten used to excellent mods. However, as a player of bannerlords unmodded, I will say that the sheer prevelance of modded content on the channel can be a bit daunting, and make it harder to get interested. That being said, I still enjoy your format of videos. Keep up the good work. Just don't forget those poor unfortunate souls like me who choose to play without mods ;)

If you plan on making a video about rbm then something I would want to understand in the video is level scaling, I know from the description of the mod that swords improve the most with your level but is that really enough to make them overtake maces in late game though? Also in late game which weapon type is the best in late game?(My bet is sword because they deal the most damage and Vandal would mitigate their biggest weakness which is armor-piercing.) These mod lists should be updated. some stuff cannot be really used anymore due to the bad status of this game with a premature release and never ending "update" story.. aka "we havenpt finishied develooment in time so we keep -Game as a Service as the new method for M&B II Bannerlord"..

@@Strat-Guides Yes, on nexus i can't download when files are too heavy cause it's crash , so i just downloaded the steam version, after the download i found the localization of Eagle and made a local version to stop the auto update of the workshop, mod crash alone or with other mod, i'm not the only one with this issues on steam version is the same as your's, tomorrow I gonna try a workshop version alone.

These mods give the game longevity. I have over 1300hrs in warband so I knew that bannerlord would become a bit samey after a while. Still going though, and these, and other mods keep the game fresh. Nice.

The problem with modding is, after you managed to create the best mods set up and tested everything thoroughly, you will then start a new playthrough, all excited and hyped. 2 Days into your modded playthrough, Taleworld decides to release out of the blue an important udate that includes crucial new features... Now you decide to take a break from modding until the modders updated all their mods. There is no guarantuee that this mod set up will ever work again.. You need to test it thoroughly again.. In conclusion, I went through this goddamn cycle so many times, that I had enough.. I will no longer use mods, until Taleworld confirm they release the bulk of the content they wanted to implement.

I rewatched the vid and saw it was the latest, nevermind my question lol. edit: seriously man this is sooo goooood i love you rn holy shit ive been looking for something like this for soo damnn loong edit 2: Morecompanions to my tavern isnt showing up in my mod list after I downloaded it and put the file in mods, do i have to do something else or does it just not show? same thing with butter achievements, its just not showing on my mod list? edit edit: I fixed it, im a moron, downloaded the files into the main tab of bannerlord instead of the modules tab, guess i got exited and forgot the most basic of things lmfao
