Agreed, as a POC I can appreciate the historical accuracy that was in the film. It doesn’t need to be catered to me imo by having other POC. A completely different film will come out with people of color and it will rock and win Oscar’s, they don’t need to be background characters just to please people.

Yeah, I kind of think people don't consider that, many of that the things he does not figure out right away contributes to showing the depth of his character. The reason he does not figure out the carpet tool for example, is because he was brought up in privilege and since has secluded himself from the world so there are things he just haven't seen before. These events all contribute to his realization that he has to be a light for the people and engage with them rather than only acting as a vengeful warrior. It is by far the best character ark we have seen in a live action Batman movie and it makes him more human

Titans is my guilty pleasure show and that’s mostly cause of the Robin stuff. They gave us our first live action Jason Todd and Tim Drake. Dick Grayson was clearly the best part of the show for the most part and that’s cause they just wanted to make a Nightwing show and that’s obvious. He’s not the typical Nightwing and Young Justice Nightwing will always be my favorite Nightwing outside of the comics but I really liked Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson. He also looks so much like Dick Grayson.

also the days of future past scene isn't just a slow mo its him taping a guy to a wall running and knocking all those people over then breaking the glass with his hands and then it goes slow mo I think a lot of people neglect the first parts a lot. It showed how we see it immediately then shows us his perspective in one scene. Makaris scene is top tier as well tho.

I think having the brave and the bold start with Damien Wayne as Robin is a great idea. Because it means the bad family already exists in this universe. That means Nightwing, red hood, red Robin, batgirl/Oracle, these are characters that are already fully established and I like that. So maybe in the future we can have a solo night wing movie or a solo red Hood movie or maybe even a team up movie between those characters

Generally this is described as "High Fantasy" vs "Low Fantasy" in these sort of spheres, "High Fantasy" meaning that a thing has a lot of use of magic, crazy creatures, fantastical elements, used in spades, as opposed to "Low Fantasy" which takes some of these elements out in favor of a more grounded approach. In Game of Thrones, this would be, like, taking the magic out of the world with the exception of the dragons and the white walkers.

If James Gunn praised The Flash (2023) than I have very little faith in his universe. His vision will be down trodden by grey factory-made cinema produced by a symphony of greedy Warner Brothers figureheads. The guy is clearly a competent filmmaker but he dabbles into the zany too often that I fear the upcoming films won't translate to a general audience. People forget that DC at full blast has some pretty wacky concepts and characters. We're neutered because we've gotten so many "serious" projects that played it safe and tried to present legitimate superheroes. The concept itself of a superhero is unbelievable and Gunn knows this. Whether or not his films will capture the hearts of millions is yet to be seen. Fortunately Superman is very well known outside of the films so he has the benefit of cultural consciousness. But I don't know, Gunn has a real Herculean effort to undertake.

The joker wanted Harvey to lose control and he did and did horrible things so batman changed the perspective. As a white man, I know im gonna catch flack for this but here me out, Frankey saying The Marvels has 2 colored leads as a reason its good irritates me, but here's why... I didn't like the first Captain Marvel filmier The Marvels but that's because I think Brie Larson was horribly miscast as Captain Marvel, and im Brie Larson fan but this was not a good movie role for her, but The Marvels I think is a better film bc Teyonah Harris is great as Photon and was great in WandaVision and Man Villain is INCREDIBLE as Ms Marvel in both her show and this and she is gonna be an absolute star... so to bring it back to my point, I don't look at either of those 2 "colored leads" as anything other than great actors in their roles, and we really need to stop with this stuff...

We all agree that Christian Bale was the worst batman right? from detective skills and making his tech (Lucius Fox did it all), Hand to hand fights were slow and atrocious, Alfred carried his wisdom and made all his decision making. He damn near killed majority of his villains. He purposefully killed Ras Al Ghul, said, "I don't have to save you" from the bombs he (Batman) planted around the train. He killed Two Face, dove at him off the building, broke his shit, dead. Was only Batman for 18 months total. Bro quit being batman less than 2yrs of being "batman" 🤣. Batman would never quit.. especially over a woman. His suit was not good at all. His Batman Begins suit was great, He had the physical presence that Batman carries that's almost a character in itself. He immedicably lost that sauce in the sequels. I'm not even a batman fan.. I just heavily dislike Bale's Batman. Nostalgia googles carries his movie, AND the villains. Now, he played Bruce Wayne very well. His Batman was ass, but good Bruce Wayne. People watch his movies for the villains, no one says they watch the movies because how great Bale is as Batman.

That is exactly where I was at. Although for me sadly I just couldn’t continue watching when she was saying that Oppenheimer was propaganda and how they should pretend there are black people there? Or how they portrayed the Japanese? Than she goes on about how white washed the cinema is and it somehow led into RDJ getting doom? I respect opinions but for me that was very offputting personally, I think movies if anything have gotten better with diversity (sometimes to much) and Oppenheimer very much followed pretty closely how the man who was one of the key players who developed the nuke how his life was.
