I’m confused on a couple of Connor’s takes. He doesn’t like that the Nolan trilogy did irreparable damage to the Batman idea by popularizing the “Realistic” take on the character that started the entire trend (which I actually agree with despite my love for Nolan’s trilogy) But yet he’s consistently defending the “Realistic” take that Man of Steel did for Superman? So he wants the realistic element to be placed on Superman, just not Batman? I personally would love a universe with ALL of the DC characters taking the Comic book fictional element route over the “realistic” route any day of the week. We’ve had enough of the “realism” elements in these DC stories and I can’t help but feel like taking that approach has been holding back these characters and their stories.

Often times it feels like Warner dips their toe into the more fantastic ideas of comic book movies like Flash and Green Lantern. Then when they don't work they always go back to their Batman safety blanket because it's a proven money maker. I think they've already made mistakes rebooting the universe while films were still coming out, as well as outside universe Joker and Batman projects. They can never consolidate their vision and move forward with it. Always sidetracked by fan perception and "market trends"

This is so funny. This was the best episode of all time. All five you you guys together makes the episode so much better. I think it would be so cool if you guys had like an outro and intro. Like music plays before you say "Hello everybody. Welcome back to the escape pod thank you for escaping with us." I think music and something cool (that isn't cringe) would add more depth into the episodes and really be interesting to see something from what you guys like. For example it could be going through movies you guys like and your favorite characters, and a horse because there has to be. An intro like that would be so iconic to the podcast and really help build a community.
