The Best Battery for Harley Sportster Antigravity Lithium Ion Restart Battery. My stock batter on my Harley Sportster has frustrated me for years! It would die with the slightest decrease in temperature. So finally once I realized it was finally dead, I wanted to go with a battery that I felt would be a major upgrade. In this video I will remove the old batter and install the new upgraded battery as well as give my thoughts on the new battery and the performance so far.

Remember on cold days turn your key on and let the headlight be on for a minute it wakes up the battery after it has a little powerflow.

I've always used the OEM battery in my 2005. They typically last 2 or 3 years, but all of the ones I've had gave me a warning, that being a false start where the engine wouldn't turn over the first time but did on the second try. When I bought the bike I was advised to keep it on the tender whenever I wasn't riding. I usually put the bike up for winter around Halloween.

I’ve always used the lithium batteries in my dirt bikes but just started to use them in my street bikes and never had any issues when it’s cold and I haven’t started my bike in a long time I just turn the key on and flip my head lights low and high beam and it fires right up, the battery guy told me just wake the battery up then start it , it works

Very cool man, it’s what you get for thinking about other bikes hahaha. My next dead battery I’m gonna go to the lithium just have to remember to change out my battery tender to the appropriate one hahaha. I think a well running battery makes everything function better. Could be in your head but I know I feel things when I shouldn’t too hahah

Yeah man you should definitely get it I cant recommend this enough. That is the downside though you ha e get a lithium specific tender. But worth it in the long run.

Not a harley guy but i am looking at a 05 1200 sportster. I dig your fairing and bars. Can you tell me where to get the fairing and bars? Or if the bars are stock. Solid video. I'll keep the battery in mind next replacement.

Those are the stock bars and the fairing is memphis shades cafe

Im still rocking the stock,but i have to keep my tender plugged in to start it up on the cold winter mornings or its not going to start at all. So i need to get this battery. And you dont have to pull your clutch in to start the bike in neutral. Its all in your head,the stator does that work.

I still use a sealed lead acid battery on a trickle charger. I’ve read reports of issues with conversations. Voltage regulator failing, chargers catching fire. 5 years for on the battery for my 2001 sporty with 1250cc 100hp kit. I would like a lighter battery since I do a fair bit of racing. I don’t feel like I needed more cranking Amps tho.

For sure. I can say as of now cranks over really easy after sitting in 30 degree temps for a week.

Will this fit a 2017 iron 883? And if so, is there any I need to change for that to happen or is it just a simple change over?

Same battery for a year no charge no nothing on the battery just riding still holding up but I do know it does not like the cold but I just say lithium ion is a must. Gave oway all my trickle chargers

I can say it has been great so far. Haven't had to the use the restart yet. But it cranks over easy after sitting in 30 degree temps for a week where the old one would be dead.

I had to put some foam under the battery to take up some room so the battery doesn’t shake around. Was yours the same exact size as stock mine was not as tall.

Interesting I actually didn't notice but you're probably right I think it's smaller. Haven't noticed any movement issue with it yet though. Amazing product. 🔥

Hows the battery treating you so far? And how often do you plug it on a tender?

Pretty good so far. Haven't touched it in over the month though and I don't have access to an outlet outside so it's never on a tender. so the true test will be when I go to start it next.

@@TheMotoJawn Yeah same here, although the parking lot is right under my balcony unit so i sometimes run an extension cord to tend it from time to time lol.
