whats what up Alex Perreira doing tactical reviews

I occasionally use my Battle Belt at the range but usually draw from my concealment holster. It’s that muscle memory thing. John Bianchi once said, “same gun, same place, every time”. In that moment when you might need it, muscle memory is your friend. Vedder is my go to brand. I haven’t found anything better. Great video sir.

I saw this belt at shot show and I had to get it. It was a life changer for me, I have some sensory sensitivity so if my belt is not on perfectly it takes away my attention and I can't perform. Love it!

I cannot believe you have a Beretta 92 under your shirt. It's a big gun even for a full sized 9 mm.

I appendix'd a 92 with a TLR1HL from 21-22 and have been carrying a G34 with an X300U and red dot since last year now lol. It's not as bad as people make it out to be.

With pouches, that another thing i do like with the Direct Action pouches. You can put on the pouches with standard molle, or you can put them on (almost any) belt directly. By using the very tight elastic loops thats also on them. That way you are not limited by just the molle and can put the pouch at any spot you like. Recently also tried out the Tegris products from Guardian Warrior Solutions. Makes for a super slick way to mount pouches like the T-rex pistol pouch on a belt or any other pouch that comes with mounting holes. Also their Bang Hanger in place of the standard UBL type mounting or a True North mount is a superb option. Paired with like the little Swivlah from Egdar Sherman Designs to give articulation to the leg strap when moving. I think its just an awsome set up to use, just for the fact that its lightweight, while being as slick as possible and still giving you plenty of options to mount whatever type of holser or mountingsystem you prefer.

Great review. I’m in the T&E program for Agilite and it’s always nice to see good, solid reviews and comparisons. How do you feel the outer belt fits? Sizing wise, do you feel like there should be less thermoplastic overlapping and wasted beyond the buckle? Of course this question is going to be waist size dependent. Thanks for the review!

how many combat encounters did that belt go through? Don' remember the finnish being in any battles but yet the IDF has been in a constant battle for over a year and well lets say combat proven..
@fennoman9241Ай бұрын
@@pmurphy12667 I mean there is really no difference in the exertion to equipment in real/training while doing the same thing, excluding maybe gun. Your gear doesnt know whether its in actual combat or not. But tbh, the drills we do in simulated war is quite a bit more intensive on your gear compared to the primarily CQC and defense IDF soldiers are doing, due to all the wear and tare exerted by woods and such. But honestly having used agilite gear, not all of their stuff is up to par. And do keep in mind that, vast vast vast majority of IDF soldiers are not using agilite and the pictures agilite posts is mainly marketing anyway. Just cause the gear has been used in combat, doesnt make it combat proven, even the low quality chinese garbo has been in used in combat and it works.

Anyone have any info on the “fully rated” version? People keep saying (including their official promo videos) that you can get one “upon request” I placed an order and made a request for a fully rated version, didn’t get a response, and my order shipped and has been delivered. I had to email twice before I get a response after the fact, and they stated that the fully rated version is “being tested.” So what’s the discrepancy on several figures saying “upon request” and then Agilite customer support itself saying it’s being tested? I’m still waiting on a response from them regarding my order and clarification on this.
@theexpressionbooth5 ай бұрын
What does that even mean? I just ordered one. I didn't know they had 2 versions of this belt...
@truehav0k5 ай бұрын
@@theexpressionbooththe standard belt has a “rated” buckle. But the full belt and buckle isn’t “fully rated” mean despite the buckle being rated, they can’t sell/market the belt we see in the shop as adequate for things like helicopter/rappel work, rated to take the weight and stress under load when doing those things. I’d imagine materials and perhaps even construction in the belt itself would be different (and of course the price). Despite everyone saying “you can get one upon request” to include Agilite’s official videos, I was then told the fully rated versions are still “being tested”, and then now Agilite is contradicting that by saying “bulk orders only” for fully rated versions. But then also don’t specify what constitutes a bulk order.

The entire belt is tested and rated for 3000lbs, BUT is not certified as SAFTEY EQUIPMENT. Meaning yes it could support your weight for heli or rapp work but not officially guaranteed due to each belt being manufactured. So they first manufacture the belt during the testing and prototype stage. Then they tested and rated that one belt ONLY and the test results where 3000lbs. After that they will manufacture the belt and after that they don't test each belt. They do their quality control test and boom they ship them out. If you get a officially rated one. MEANING they take a belt from the manufacturing process and test that specific EXACT one you are going to be getting. So all the belts that are made are assuming they have the same strength as the prototype type. BUT not tested that specific one. BECAUSE not every belt it the same. There could be defect. If they were to test every single belt that's made the price of the belts would be more since they have to certify every single one. And since most citizens aren't doing heli or rapp work they didn't certify them so the cost can be cheaper. (IN SHORT) Rated: Every belt could hold the certified weight but not guarantied Certified Rated: That specific belt is classified as SAFTEY Equipment that will hold the weight that it's Certified for. Also that D-Ring will be attach to a belt harness anyways. You aren't repelling with just a rope and the D-ring. You would attach for example the "Misty Mountain MM Cobra Leg Loops" mistymountain.com/products/mm-cobra-leg-loops to the belt then if you are doing HELO work than you would attach for example the "Fusion Tactical Helo Personal Retention Lanyard with Snap Hook and Shackle" fusiontacticalusa.com/collections/lanyard/products/personal-retention-lanyard-w-snap-hook-shackle-1 to the D-RING or for rappelling you would attach for example the "Skylotec SIRIUS Descent and Rescue Device” www.gmesupply.com/skylotec-sirius-descent-and-rescue-device?**LP+-+Shop+-+pMax+-+Rope+%26+Lifelines&hsa_acc=4386758471&hsa_cam=18125699742&hsa_grp=&hsa_ad=&hsa_src=x&hsa_tgt=&hsa_kw=&hsa_mt=&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADmP4P-J6OgzQKKIvVbqJRfCWYP2F&gclid=CjwKCAjwx4O4BhAnEiwA42SbVJ8uyICsIOXMADSgrGt-jKOHvSaxWy_YHTChlKnPJH8Vhh68p6x5sxoCaZMQAvD_BwE to the D-Ring. So a leg harness system attaches to the belt than a Helo Lanyard for HELO or Descent Device for rappelling would attach to the D-RING. I was eager to get this battle belt set up, but I was extremely disappointed when I received it and began to try and set it up. It was something a person might get if they were playing air soft or paintball. Very cheap. It was almost like they had a quality product design for the IDF forces and another version, a step-down product to sell to the civilian market. And the “magnets” on the belt designed to help you “center” the belt. Lame😂. I sent this purchase back ASAP. Can’t believe the IDF actually uses this😳
