Hi Amy. I enjoyed your video on waffle making. So what's the name and make of the waffle maker?. Its looks so sturdy and strong.
@AmyLearnsToCook11 ай бұрын
Hi Ralston! It is a KitchenAid Proline. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore. It is a monster of a waffle maker!

I have the same waffle maker! You're one of the few that I see on YT that have that...glad I saw your video! Such a great waffle maker, I wonder why they don't sell it anymore. Anyway, thanks for this video!

Great recipe ! I like the idea that you separated the eggs and then folded the beaten egg whites into the batter...No wonder they turn out so fluffy. WE love waffles - I usually make and serve them on Sunday morning....with the waffles I cut up pieces of banana or strawberries....along with the butter and syrup....Yum !
@joycehalvorsen23365 жыл бұрын
Perfect waffles. Dividing the egg whites (and beating them) separate from the yokes was the "key" method from all others. Your waffle iron is similar to those we see in upscale restaurants or motels that offer hot breakfasts....but they always use Pam....which gives a "rancid" taste after many uses....I like your suggestions better. Some people top the waffles with fresh jam or fruit, too. I often use sliced bananas. Most of the time I use maple syrup and butter, FRESH maple syrup is BEST. Thank you for posting this....Joyce from Sunny Florida.

You are so right to use regular oil. I used the spray-on on my Bundt pans and it actually ruined two of them, I could never get that sticky residue off, no matter what. Who knew, right? We learn by our mistakes.

What's a Belgian waffle? This is supposed to be a Brussels Waffle although the recipe doesn't do it justice. They're supposed to be crisp on the outside.

Waffles at breakfast , this is typical for Americans we never eat this at breakfast and there is no baking powder and no vanilla in Belgian waffles.

Yes I know nowadays stop being a shift and measure your ingredients and when you have the amount basic and usually correct then let people know we are dealing with illnesses like diabetes therefore we should know the correct amount of ingredients so that we can adjust the recipes try not to do it like a shipped by by taste thank you
@TheBasedtrainer4 жыл бұрын
Grover Troutman if you have diabetes you shouldn’t be eating waffles in the first place
