I love our 4 Bike Friday’s, 2 for my wife and 2 for me. All for have been converted to ebikes. Love ‘em. Non-electric parts are mostly standard bike parts.

Fridays are solid rides but did not have the design excellence to make this list.

2 of ours have been on the road over 20 years with no issues other than the parts you expect to wear out….

Only 3-wheel capable now, but fun video to watch! Video supplied knowledge is BOTH deepest and logical too!

What about the EoVolt Afternoon Pro? Have you tested that and what are your thoughts? It appears to have a lot of cutting edge features.

This video is about mechanical bikes. The Eovolt Afternoon is interesting but unknown in the US and not a hand built ride. I may review it in a video dedicated to electrics.

I love my Dahon Boardwalk (chromoly frame) whose history is at least 30 years and still going strong. It is practically indestructible, little maintenance and requires no bike shop service even after 10 years! I bet that all those bikes combined could not sell in volume compared with Boardwalk over the years! It is the Toyota of folding bike.

Hi, thoughts on the Cannondale compact neo ? Thanks 🙏
@SmallWheelWonderАй бұрын
Cannondale is like Tern. They make solid, mass produced bikes. The Neo deserves an honorable mention, although it is not as nice or as well built as the Tinker, and the 15 MPH speed limit is very strict.
@javiermartinez364Ай бұрын
@ I love the Tiker it’s just really expensive especially compared to the Cannondale which is on sale at my lbs for $1,300 but with bikes like the Lectric 2.0 lite it’s hard to choose one.
@SmallWheelWonderАй бұрын
I would go with the Cannondale. We used them for deliveries back in the 80s when they were the new kid on the block. Even the Japanese buy them. They are a well established player. The Lectric looks like a Chinese hurry-up job.

What do you think of the dahon k one middrive?
@SmallWheelWonderАй бұрын
Dahon makes cheaply built, flimsy, ugly, poorly engineered bikes. Buying cheap comes at a cost -- which may even be limb and life.

Your opinion is anecdotal.

Sorry if your $300 plywood bike has not been included in this list.

Had Brompton C-line(2022) and now P-line, 12 gear (2024). nothing wrong with them. planning to buy g-line as well. nothing folds as good as brompton
@SmallWheelWonderАй бұрын
You are correct about the fold, but the G line is below its best competitors in other areas. You should check out my G line videos: www.youtube.com/@SmallWheelWonder/search?query=g%20line
