Looking at getting one of these. Thanks for the video. I get my dies from Bradshaw steel rule dies in Ontario. Thick clear acrylic backers definitely make using them easy. All of mine so far have been about the same price you mentioned.

Great demostraton. Can I use it as paper puncher to punch holes precisely on the same spot everytime or does the blades shift a bit when you press it? I need to puch paper holes and make a designated points to place stacks of paper and needed holes on the same spot all the time. thanks a lot

I just bought an arbor press thinking it would save a few quid, ima thinking...mistake...too many modifications needed to do to make it compatible with dies...this looks better and appears to do what it says on the tin, thanks for the tip,

Did you get one of these or do you just use the Arbor press? I am considering getting an Arbor press for hot stamping (of logos, names, etc) and was thinking it might be able to be used for clicker dies and hot foil stamping as well...

Hello, you could use steel dies without the wood backing for sure with this press im pretty confident as its such a good machine however my advice would be get a backed die just in case. the backking disperses the weight throughout the die so it can cut. I currently dont use these wooden ones any more and I have upgraded to some dies from Milwaukee steel rule die. these are glass backed, im pretty sure the glass is bulletproof actually, anyway, those are much better as you can see whats happening underneath. There is a new video on this in the works!

How do you spread the tokonole for your edges?

I cut tokonole 50/50 with water and put it in an edge dye pen!

Yes you absolutely can and I did end up doing this with some of my dies. I actually use glass backed dies now though from Milwaukee. I'll be making a new video on this really soon! They are way better and very on par with each other price wise. Hope that helps!
