You have to dunk before the layup animation concludes. I've dunked out of bully badge you have to right stick while defender is riding you.

@@BobbyCrougar like most 2k badges the badges do more than what they say and work rather you see them or not. It’s possible to get bully on dunks as I have done so. Also I played with it on and off. With it off you don’t get the same powerful layups rather the badge is triggered or not. It’s about animations that’s more important than the badge popping up!

Hey Kevin, Bout to make my Melo build so I’m considering a silver Bully. Question is, did you ever test or find success with bully from the post spin or drive? So if you don’t get the auto W from the post spin, wouldn’t you be in a ride animation for bully to clear out?

Yeah, bully from the post is not something you can really activate unless it's from the ride animation out of post drives. You're going to want to have drop stepper, along with the strength to get nice contact animations out of the post hop lay-up towards the basket! You don't necessarily need to be in a ride animation to activate bully, even if they're just directly in front of you and you're pushing the left stick towards the basket, as soon as you activate the layup, if they're in range for a bully animation it should pop off!

I tried, and I think hop steps activate a different badge. From the post it's drop stepper. But you can still get some nice contact animations out of them, just not necessarily a bully activation!

What does the defender need to stop these bully animations from triggering consistently? LeBron actually outweighs Giannis by 8 pounds and has only 5 fewer points in strength so it must be the anchor badge, which LeBron lacks, that's the key to stopping bully layups?

Between Lebron, Kawhi, and Jimmy, Kawhi actually bothered me the most. That’s a really good question though, and something I want to find out for my own builds to really stop these. I think Anchor is probably one of those badges that you’ll want to have for sure

@@KevinCruz016 Neither Kawhi nor LeBron have the anchor badge, and Kawhi is a bit worse than LeBron in height, weight, strength, and interior defense. But Kawhi has Menace on HOF and Challenger on gold compared to both being bronze for LeBron. Maybe it's Menace, then, that's the anti-Bully badge?

Yeah he does. Same with harden and Zach levin due to the euro step. Lebron has a good cradle and many of his lay up types use strength. I been using harden and bron layups for my sg 6’6 220 80 strength, silver bully, gold clamps and hot quick steps. Pretty much unstoppable cause I can get to the rack with speed or power.

And you get bully animations that are very quick to release. And don’t sleep on shot changing ur layup if the big man is coming in . It almost automatically goes in if you shit change …

That’s what I usually do! I originally thought cradle layups in contact were bully activations, but they were not. Also it only works if you are driving towards the basket, its very angle sensitive in terms of movement!

You can also press the shot stick towards the opponent. So if you driving and they on your left hip, layup with your left hand by pushing right stick and you will push them Out the way and layup and get a potential and one.

You can get contact animations out of drop steps and hop steps towards the basket, but they're not necessarily bully activations. It activates drop stepper (drop step) and acrobat (hop step) in those situations! But I can give this a look!
