Since you made the example, i have a Sram deck and all the cards in contention for the "best card" title are those that let you cheat equip costs. Puresteel paladin, Sigarda's aid and Hammer of nazahn are what i'm gonna tutor for in most games. Sigarda's aid has to be the best though: it's only one mana, and flashing in a colossus hammer or a fireshrieker attaching it to an unblocked sram is priceless.

Xenagos, God of Revels Best card(s): Thorn Elemental. Move to combat, take 14 minimum regardless of blocks. Grafted Exoskeleton: infect 1 shot kills. Nuff said Atarka the World Render: 6 flying, trample, double strike which becomes 24 damage WITH HASTE. This hits the field and my opponents just break into a nervous sweat if they don’t have an answer

My Mizzix deck's best card is probably Frantic Search. It's good in all quadrants and it can be considered a combo piece. You can Frantic Search + Reiterate until you get all other combo pieces and gain one mana profit per copy. It's a really good card, but it seems underpowered in comparison to how good it is.

Greven: rat colony My greven deck isn’t a normal voltron deck. It’s based around rat colony. Here’s my reasoning why rat colony is the best card. 1/3 of the deck is it. With greven it’s draw minimum 2 cards losing 1 life but it’s rare to only draw 2 cards, I’m usually drawing 5+ cards losing one life. FOR 2 mana. Plus with purphorous type cards, I can play a several in a turn and still deal a lot of damage. And I swing for tons of damage with the rats by themselves. Rat colony really just covers so many areas within the deck

Would make for a very funny game of chicken for anyone daring to actually use their tutor for a good card. Obvious choices you'd be getting would be the old Eater of dead for creature decks, Duskmantle/Mindcrank/Bloodcheif ascension, Consuming Aberration/Essence Harvest/intruder alarm, fraying sanity/Traumatize, sadistic sacrament or praetor's grasp if they have eldrazzi titans, Tunnel Vision/Hinder, Dramatic reversal/ Isochron Scepter, Thousand Year Elixir/ King Macar, Guiltfeeder or Tree of Perdition. Sorry I got carried away with mill combos, they don't even good.

Now that I watched the video, I will put down a few of my decks... Demon Tribal (Commander changes based on who is closest to the top, they are demons and fighting each other all the time) Grey Merchant of Asphodel is REALLY good, I tutor for it all the time and it allows for semi-combo kills. Lord Windgrace Lands Matter: Crucible of Worlds/Life from the Loam/Gitrog Monster: All three of these put the deck into overcharge. Yuriko: Probably the Scroll Rack I have to pick up.

The number of times I've played against Tuvasa, I'd argue Octopus Umbra is a lot scarier as Tuvasa is usually going to commander damage, and often can take someone out that turn with an Octopus Umbra, where as Bear Umbra is a nice ramp spell, it isn't as threatening or give the pseudo-evasion.

my current favourite (and best built) commander deck is Jhoira, Wheatherlite Captain. The objectively best card in the deck is Aetherflux Resevoir, but one of my favourites in the deck is Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar as it just ramps up Jhoira's ability and often will let you filter through the entire deck to find what you need.

I have a Vaevictis Asmadi, The Dire deck that focuses on forcing my opponents to sacrifice permanents and cheating big creatures out for reduced cost, if not for free. Off the top of my head, there are three cards that are contenders for best card. Loyal Apprentice makes sure I always have a token to sacrifice to Vaevictis so I don't have to sacrifice my useful permanents. Scroll Rack allows me to stack the top of my library with the high mana cost cards in my hand so I can then get them for free with Vaevictis. And It That Betrays is THE permanent that will bring me ahead and close out a game once it is on the field. It's hard to say which card it the best one, but I'm leaning towards Scroll Rack, as you guys said, the card is AMAZING when the deck cares about what's on top of the library.

Hapatra: Yawgmoth, Thran Physician... the synergy is disgusting. Saheeli: Mycosynth Lattice... makes everything free basically. Things go nuts from there. Edgar: Shadow Alley Denizen... this card is overlooked by so many vampire tribal players and my personal MVP. Still, lets be honest and boring... the most powerful card is probably skullclamp.

Bone Miser is nuts in Anje, it feels like that card is the true commander of the deck. Shadow of the grave is also super strong in that deck. Do you also feel like Anje could as well have been mono black without really missing out on anything great? :D

@@GamerdevilPro Mono-B would've been fine, but having the R pushed her so much more, especially with the Worldgorger line cause it works so well with her, and the REB/Pyroblast protection. Other than that, a couple of good madness cards (Fiery Temper, Avacyn's Judgement, etc) , ONE way to deal with enchantments (Chaos Warp), and I guess it nerfs K'rrik in that deck a little bit? Otherwise mono-B Anje with K'rrik smells absolutely busted. The R in my deck are mostly just support, but I think she might be just a tad more busted with other colors.

@@Train__ I mean it's good to be able to play more than one color but I have like 10 red cards in the whole deck because I cut most of the red stuff because it didn't really feel fitting. Although I do like Neheb, dreadhorde champion in that deck as it is a cheap, big creature that kinda ramps you and refuels your hand. Yeah K'rrik seems pretty bad in that deck, I am currently building a separate one with him and it seems pretty nuts on paper. It's basically mono black storm and as we all know, storm is one hell of a mechanic :D
