I really don’t want to see Dockside go away. Idk if it really fixes anything to ban it. Also if dockside were to be banned it would really only hurt the fringe decks and narrow the meta. Just like the discussion of the one ring - it seems like they’re making decisions that are pushing fringe decks and strategies out. I don’t think dockside should go

Sisay probably did improve alot given we got Tyvar, Lotho, Agatha's Soul Cauldron, and of course the insanity that is Dihada, but she was by no means fringe before this year

not even close, IMO. breacher was just fine. bowmasters is far worse, punishing the wrong player at the table. sheldon and casual tables that didn't play any answers to breach/wheel were the only people whining to have breacher banned.

hullbreacher only prevented extra draws, you could still draw for turn, and that is exactly what the format needs now. when breacher left the format, rhystic study became a menace. draws need to be punished, not mana dorks. @@damo9961

If rhystic study were to be banned, we would just see blue farm 3x more. Rhystic study should not be banned. I would definitely be upset if it were.

Unless my opponent has a "Christmas" opening hand, with multiple copies in hand. I'll steal the Bow Master rather than returning it back to its owners hand. I play a mono blue mind control in timeless, and historic with great success. Control decks are more difficult for me to interact with. Bow Master all day for me...bring him on.

I was glad to see Ryan talk about deck specific discords sometimes become “inbred”. I see that happening with Atraxa. If the deck becomes too parasitic, it will be hated out of the format. With midrange being so dominant, that deck needs to be more midrange with some parasitic tendencies rather than vice versa.

I know at times they have some moments of very dry humor that can seem insulting to those who may not be aware they are joking, but you do you dog. Y'alls take on bowmasters is soooo wrong. Rhystic and Mystic IS the problem, bowmasters is just punishing those draw engines and other greedy players. It's only a problem due to greedy players. Just because it's annoying doesn't make it a bad card. There are much worse cards that still exist in cEDH that no one complains about. It's easy to play around (just remove it)

Pfffft. You guys are crazy. Two mana, instant - speed win - cons that can win on top of somebody else where the setup requires having TWO whole cards in hand isn't at all busted. (Bowmasters is the only must ban imo)
