All the pockets on Carhartt overalls are worthless from being too tight, shallow, and narrow. There, now they might see me, finally. 6:40? Meh. Even at 8:31, the pocket is broad but not enough since it still only accomodates the width of a phone. Just take it to the limit at the edges, either split odwn the middle for a big semi-top/side entry pocket or a that plus another underneath that the full breadth. And then hand pockets worth a damn, not sucked so tight to your sides a pen will stab you. Just weirdness all around and every time with these pocket designs. Hell, an inside pocket for concealed carry that doesn't print would be interesting, if no on the center front panel, maybe accessible from the sides on the inside.

I have the insulated biberalls and they are the wind proof! Working in February Wyoming was only possible because of them. The wider top really adds to the warmth, and with the big side and front zips, you can use them like a heavy coat, and take them off when going inside or in the truck. They are in the bulky side, but that helps trap more warm air 🤘

Look at the reviews before you buy them, I was interested too but looks like they have issues. I’ve bought 3 pairs of their pants and they’ve all fallen apart. I do love the fleece lined winter pants but the threads that attach the zipper have blown out leaving that area wide open. They’ll fix it but it’s not convenient. Not to pile on them but I have carhartts that have outlasted them and they are 1/3 the price. I love supporting an American company it just has to be worth it.

Carhartt makes great quality stuff regardless of when. I had one of those Iconic Carhartt duck jackets all the way through my teenage years only to get lost during a move in my 20s. I replac3d it with a Carhartt Olive full swing jacket that I've worn hunting, fishing, hiking, manual labor, and just to keep warm for the past 10 years. If it stands up to the interior Alaska weather and active use over the past decade and still look relatively mint condition says a lot for the quality of their products. I'd recommend carhartt over any other brand for outdoor and work wear.

Awesome! Me and my friend are garden builders in Hungary, here at home we cannot just go to a shop and buy good quality working clothes. We order our stuff from USA on amazon. Which means we have to think it over a hundred times before we buy something because of the arriving time and the cost. We are glad that found you Carl, your videos are very satisfying to watch. Yet we have the classic Dickies duck bib overall, the one that came out first in 1922. We love them, its just 50-80 $ and tough and comfortable. I am working in my piece more than 2 years in hard circumstances and its just got a little hole at my right knee I’m going to patchwork it. But anyway I’m curious your opinion about that kind of dickies bib. I never had carhartt working bib just a denim wip one and that was a shame. These ones that you talking about really that good? Should we get them? Thank you very much! Again, you are awesome, we love you!👊

Thank you for the kind words! I think that when it comes to sheer durability you'll want to stick to the Cordura models, but if that's too warm the firm duck is your next best bet. Thankfully those come in both insulated and non. The rigid nature of the fabric along with it's hydrophobic surface treatment will serve you well. While washed duck may be more comfortable, its already had some life taken away due to the washing process. So in short: Cordura is king, but firm duck is next best.

In my own experiences with having worn Carhartt bibs since the late 90s, ive found the quality of materials Carhartt has been using has varied. While i still have bibs from early 2000's that are solid runners - i have the stark contrast of my limited run "gunslinger" bibs that didnt even last a year without bascially falling apart. If it stretches - it fails. Plain and simple. That being said i actually steered away from buying Carhartt thisblast set because of the Stretchy bits and pieces theyve added. Like many brands that had qaulity gesr in they're younger years - often that gets lost or hit and miss as the yewts go in and they try to keep the markets happy. That being said - ill still eyeball and entertain getting new Carhartt gear- but its definitely not my go to anymore.

I will say that the sizing is wayyy off on the FR versions, their FR pants are dicey too, they’re wayyy too long! I typically wear a 36 waist and a 34 length in most pants, this is perfect for non Fr carhartt pants, but the FR ones are like 4 inches too long lol! Same thing for the FR bibs, a 34 length is like a 38 length! Lol not an issue in the non FR bibs and pants. Crazy.

I never wore it when I was working concrete floor construction [because you sweat 😓 in a bib, and carhartt bibs are friggin expensive to have wet concrete destroy it over time with lime stains. So i always use my bib for winter snow cleaning, sleading, skiing, outdoor nfl game watching, .... its a xxl and x_-tall, which was originally tight 🤔, i was 6"1" 270lbs , 40 waist 😂at my biggest and i had to leave 2.side buttons unbuttoned 😂for my belly. Nowadays I weigh 195 and its baggy on me, wich is perfect!! As i wear sweat pants and hoodie under it. Its insulated, so its used only in Massachusetts winters. Love insulated r02!!!!
