We do not carry a direct fit catalytic converter for the LS430 but you could purchase an appropriately sized raw catalytic converter and have a competent custom exhaust shop "record" your old exhaust with a new HJS cat.

How much does a good quality cat (let’s say 200cells) lasts? I’ve been hearing from my mechanic that won’t make it past 2-3 years before I need to replace it, but even if I take good care of everything is the same story?

That will be highly dependent on 1. The catalytic converter 2. The engine and tune of the engine 3. The operating conditions (Track use, street only etc) That all said, we warranty our HJS catalytic converters for 5 years and we typically see them last 5-10 years of normal driving.

How much power loss is there with these catalytic converters compared to a straight pipe ? I'm asking for a 2 Liter 4G63T engine that will be producing 600-800 HP on street and 1000 + HP for track use. So if without a catalytic converter the car makes 800 HP , how much power loss can I expect by adding a nice big(as biggest as recommended) cat converter?? Also, if I am only going to make 1000 HP maximum can I still use a catalytic converter rated at 1500+ HP? Will that only just lessen my power loss? Thank you in advance

At 1000 HP, through a single giant HJS 200 Cell Cat, you'd probably loose 20-30 HP vs a 4 in straight pipe. On the big power McLarens and 911 Turbos we'll see 10-20 HP more with a straight pipe compared to large HJS cats. To put it simply, you want the biggest cat you can fit. There's no downside to going bigger. Keep in mind, race gas or e85 will void the warranty on an HJS cat. We recommend designing your exhaust so you can easily swap the cat in for the lower tune/pump gas and swap a straight pipe in for race gas/racing applications.
