Chicken chilled in water has that chewy mushy texture. There is a big difference between air chilled and water chilled. I try to go one step further and buy local pasture raised chicken. It is a little more expensive but well worth it due to the quality of the meat.
@Lucinda_Jackson4 жыл бұрын
Let’s be honest - it’s a LOT more expensive! Wonderful if you can afford it, but many cannot. I agree with air chilled and the best I can do is air chilled, free range organic most of the time these days. The price of heirloom, pasture raised has skyrocketed here and many local farmers no longer offer it.

With the population so high I wonder of we all can eat this quality though....
@melaniehoyt76074 жыл бұрын
@@nicolekuros9811 years ago,I read articles on these chicken slaughter facilities in WV wherein these employees torture these animals. The book “Skinny Bitch” tells of what they do to the pigs. On you tube Young Pharoah has a video of a frightened pig making the walk to be killed. He can barely walk due to the fright of knowing he is to be killed. While I was at USC I made this comment about these factory farms: We as customers go to the stores and we select a package of meat totally in the dark about how that animal was raised and what was put into its body while it was alive and whether or not it was tortured or not, all of which can produce stress,/fright, pain, and suffering to the animal all of which is negative. We take that package home and prepare it to eat totally ignorant of any of this negativity we are putting into our bodies. I think this is where saying grace originated. We owe it to these animals and ourselves to allow them to live the lives God intends with the least amount of negativity. We owe it. Plus do we really have to eat meat everyday? These farms are about greed and money. Obese Americans eating antibiotic meat. All this must end. As far as population growth people need to become highly responsible in their sex lives and I don’t mean abortion as the answer. Like meat they don’t need sex everyday. If we cannot control our reproductively these politicians will get rid of masses of people through Bioweapon, war, eugenics. Love the animals. Be wise.
