My buddy and I used to do a lot of sandblasting back in the day. Media isn’t cheap and what we did that we found worked well was using a cheap but big camping tent. We would set up shop inside the tent and blast, we would strain the media and reuse it, it was so simple to lift the tent floor and capture all of it. Didn’t make a mess outside in the driveway and saved us money in the long run. It’s a hillbilly way but it worked.

I buy 50lbs black aluminum oxide bags on Menards for less than $10 after tax...
@mike1581938 ай бұрын
@@Room1sixtyfive I guess that all depends on what type of media you buy, we were doing a lot of old motorcycles and frames were a bit harder to blast if you didn’t have a good media like star blast.

Great job Austin as always ! @ Mike used a tent for sand blasting, good tip. I used a make shift spray booth tent in plastic poly sheeting, and painted in dead of winter 58 degrees F. Used a heater to heat my booth to73 degrees, than sprayed beautiful Chevy White finish. God Speed and still praying for your BROTHER !!!

Looks fantastic 👌 of course I (we) expected nothing less. You do great work. This is really going to be something when it's all up and running. Hopefully you don't scratch it up to soon. Have you given any consideration to adding a flat belly pan ... skid plate to it before you ate all said and done ? A little bit of creative fab work and it really makes a difference. 😎👍
