As a lifelong North Texas native, country style ribs have always been a go to for their inexpensiveness and endless flavor possibilities. I'll have to give this style a go. I've used your rubs for a couple of years now. Hopefully one of these days soon I'll make it down to Waxahachie to check out the shop!

What I don't like about the traeger is some models are limited on temperature steps and the single fan models have been known to catch on fire

@@SAABguyMD Agreed. I've done a bunch of research over the last couple years and would likely not go with Traeger. But people love 'em so there's that... and, they have a huge and supportive community. That is very valuable in my opinion. A bunch of events and ambassadors, etc.

Country strip ribs,as they're called out here in the west,are the bomb.I eat them often, and the smoker loves them.They are versatile,too,not just the barbecue, smoker.

Matt you are incredible! I made these today and turned out fantastic. Since I had nothing for brazing I tried double wrapping in foil with butter and brown sugar. Then waited as Matt says until hitting internal temperature of 195 before saucing. I can’t wait to do them again using Matt’s braze method.

I bought a pro series 780 and I’ve been using the heck out of it! I’m smoking twice a week! I love it! Had it for a month now. A friend and work told me to check meat church out and I’ve been using a couple of recipes!

Slow n low. Around 300° until you reach 195° internal. Idk if everyone forgets to mention it or its just one of the best kept secrets but thank you for this bit of info.

I found this video about six months ago and made the apple juice kind. I tested it on a young couple and we all loved it. Forward to this weekend, my wife and I threw a birthday party for a friend turning 50 with 17 guests. I smoked 25 lbs of butt ribs and used your holy vodo seasoning. It was a great success. Alabama here...Lower Alabama....Mommy always used mustard doing BBQ and always on a charcoal/wood grill/smoker... Oklahoma Joe's almost 20 years old & still Kick'n Ass ! No oven shit here. I just brought the timberline 1300 a few weeks ago. I did these country style ribs today. Only thing I did different was after I braised them I sauced them then hit them with the super smoke to tact it up. My family lost their minds and I only got one 😞. But anyway another good video bro. 👍🏼👍🏼

I make my on BBQ sauce. The recipe was given to me by a Guy who had a side gig of cooking whole hogs when I went to college 50 years ago. A lot of my friends love it so I mostly use it when having guests but to be honest, I have grown to like just mustard on pork.

The nice thing about Country Ribs is you can do them on the good old gas BBQ grill and they come out great.

Save some more cleaning time by lining your sheet pan with foil before you put your raised rack in the pan. Nothing cooked on or burned on to your pans. No scrubbing.
