I still feel like they should've swapped what version ChargeMan and GroundMan were in. It makes no sense to me that Gregar has two Fire crosses and Falzar has two Break crosses. Also, another way to look at HeatCross and ChargeCross isn't a one vs the other, but that you get _two_ strong Fire crosses, so even if you get hit by an Aqua attack and un-crossed you can just immediately go into the other Fire cross to continue boosting your Fire chips.

What specially irritates me is that Gregar most common method of attack is the falling rocks... and they gave the form with that attack to Falzar! And Falzar is a giant phoenix, who has one of it's most powerful attacks a fire breath that summons fire birds! And no cross let's us do that because we don't have a fire cross in Falzar!

I have zero proof for this, but I'd guess that the reason for the cross weirdness is balance around Tomahawk. The world in which Gregar doesn't have Heat as a backup is a world where losing Charge to Aqua means free and long-term status guard access, and it's easy enough to double down on because fire chips already historically do big damage. I don't know how much of the end result is "intended", but it certainly feels like Gregar is the "grappler" player who has a much smaller and less efficient toolbox but will eat 2/3rds of your HP if you let them "get in", while Falzar gets basically all of the defensive or utility tools but needs to use them properly to confirm multiple hits. Also I'd like to imagine that at least 15% of the reason Falzar gets Ground Cross is because of how absurd it is to give the bird GROUND CROSS.

Exactly, Gregar is DPS king, and will give huge damage if you get it right. Falzar is an all-rounder, the Giga chip in Falzar are all pretty great, but one Colonel Force alone are able to balance it around. I say it really is an interesting balance. You camnot definitively say Falzar is better than Gregar

My ranking crosses pvp Tenju removes barriers auras air shoes. Falzar air shoes float shoes normal element chip boost. Slash undodgable wide sword charges. Gregar. Erase charge pierces invis and stays for a while. Elec charge goes across field. Tomahawk charge like lifesword, ground cross charge invincible frames, Aqua cross goes across field plus water heal. ground cross teleport but hard to hit, heat cross 3 panels forward leaves you in place.

Cross Beast rankings pvp. Heat 200 damage hard to dodge breaks life aura. Elec 190 hard to dodge paralyzes breaks panels. Slash cross can hit for 400 dodged by moving down or up though. Erase cross tracks and has bug. Ground cross hits good damage but only straight invincible. Tengu hits less depending on panel but more area than ground. Charge hits across can stun someone opponent to not miss. Sprout only hits 2 across. Dust random rng low damage. Tomahawk can only hit like boomerang so can be dodged in middle.

I know this may be controversial, but I do feel like Ground Cross and Charge Cross didn’t need to be in MMBN6; at the very least they didn’t need to give Gregar and Falzar 2 crosses that are the same element. Charge Cross is pretty much HeatCross: with the exception of having to do a long A charge for more fire damage and Ground Cross only giving SuperArmor; which is basically pointless if you have the program. If anything: I feel like those last Cross slots could’ve easily been for Secret Bass Crosses that could’ve been behind an extra Bass fight AFTER you beat Gregar/Falzar SP. If that would be the case: I would say that those would probably be the two crosses that would be each games “Null Element” Cross that can’t be Cross Beasted, but gives you the Cybeast’s abilities anyways. Not to mention that their Charged Busters are useful; Gold’s being 3x 25 buster shots that get stopped by obstacles(but ruin any AntiDmgs) and Silvers 3x 50 Hellz Rolling that goes down the row and is stopped by holes(Unless you can get right in front of the opponent when you Uninstall their airshoes and they’re Geddoned). The potential was there and CapCom absolutely should’ve taken advantage of integrating these MMBN5 Special forms; which you can get sometimes since the beginning of a play through if you have that AR Reader, into MMBN6 Post-Game Completion; where you have to accomplish everything else to fight the Ultimate NetNavi in his strongest form(this fight not being where you get ColForce/HubBatch Gigas) but a fight that takes place after that one.

@@RaymondCruz25not really considering the idea of bass cross megaman already breaks the rule that the fusion only happens when they are forced to team up against Nebula Gray which didn’t happen in MMBN5 so the cross is just there for fun while also being a test bed for the crosses in MMBN6.

Elect cross def low S. Not gonna try to say it’s on the same level as high S with dust and tomahawk. But I would argue that he’s equally as good as slash cross. As stated he has one of the best charge shots in the game. It bridges to one of the best beast crosses which also matter. It doesn’t have nearly as many weaknesses as slash cross because wood chips usually are less common and have lower base damage so the initial multiplier on damage is less. Tomahawk cross is obviously a problem because it’s the hard counter but you can still outplay it and kite with charge shots if they don’t have area grabs And perhaps most importantly it leads to insane damage combos with bubble star which come in very good codes that are easily splashable in most folders. You can argue that one of the reasons you play gregar is to have elec cross because no other cross in the game has the potential to combo chips to generate as much damage. One bubble star combo can net you 480 damage! More if you run dolls vs dragons Elec dragon is a hell of a chip. And even if you don’t have the chip combo. Bubble star plus just the charge nets you almost 400 damage. Insane. You can argue that falzar can do the bubble star combo too. But elec cross objectively does it was better because electric chips are better than water chips and elec cross is better without the chips. Elec dragon 🐉 is much better they bubble star. Harder to dodge. Breaks panels. And can break life aura. With boost. Bubble star is usually the run at bun star 1 which is slower and easier to dodge. Plus aqua cross would get crush with a bubble star combo on decross. That’s like 800 damage. Elect cross doesn’t take that much damage from anything The charge chip feature is the least important and it’s still good. Stun is annoying to deal with. Def S tier.

You have a good argument, but I still would put it on A, because eventhough it can transtion to a good beast cross. I would say the heat is better and most of the time, you would want the erase beast out anyway if you’re planning to use beast cross in gregar

@@shzammpatapon9865 I don’t agree. Competitively you rarely ever see a heat beast out in gregar. The most common one is erase beast because of the tail attack. Then the next most common. The next one is elec beast. Then maybe slash. You rarely ever see either fire beast unless it’s an emergency. The bubble star combo is far more popular than a grass fire combo. Plus cracking panels and stunning is more valuable than burning grass for he exact same attack animation.

Aqua also has the benefit of de-crossing two Gregar crosses with a quick charge shot. Erase cross is the equivalent in Gregar to Falzar, but it’s charge beam is not cursor element and so does not de-cross Dust and Ground. Admittedly, cursor chips are very common, relevant and competitive so the null element beam on Erase cross makes sense.

If right from the beginning you need to start stressing that some crosses are "high A" or "high B", then you definitely needed more categories. Deleting D tier was a mistake. I would even add an E tier.

The biggest takeaway with a tierlist like this is power in a PVP fight. Even the worst transformations have uses and see some amount of play. I think calling something like Charge Beast a D or E tier doesn't reflect its actual usefulness. Or so I say : )

Gound Beast is solid for sure, my take is Dust Beast does something very similar (invincibility frames) while also ruining the opposing field and digging for chips

It is solid for sure, but what people doesn’t understand what makes erase so powerful is the value you got from those. The charged is undodgeable, plus you are using useless chip to execute those massive damage. What people don’t understand why gregar is still balanced even if you see it has only one s tier beast is because you only got those for 3 turns, you don’t get to change to many cross in that beast out. Might as well use the best quality one. And even if other cross is only a tier in utility, you never see gregar players loses in dps, they are many endgames where you have erase cross and aqua cross left with no chips, and gregar cross charged shot are so good and so fast, and gregar players always comes out on top

Good tier list but nah man, tenguBeast is at best A tier, his B+back is harder to do, plus he overlaps the airshoes, and chargeshot deals as much as (if not outdamaged) by all gregar crosses chargeshots. Base Falzar charge shot is probably the best charge shot Beast Falzar gets.

You might be surprised how often it sees play in the N1GP! Super super fast charge attack and one of the few, reliable ways to decross Erase. Strong points about base TenguCross though, it's for sure got its own weaknesses
