I'm from Eastern Canada Nova Scotia and here we call them Bombadeer as well, I think the French in Quebec are the only ones to say it correctly because I believe it's a French word, lol, great video also.

That makes sense. I’ve definitely heard people pronounce it the correct way, but then again I’m only 20 miles away from Quebec…

I’m in Nova Scotia as well and say it the correct way. Usually older people say bomb ba deer. If you’re going to say bomb ba deer at least black out the r in the middle on the decals

@@northerntoyota7584 Yeah I'm 52 and from Cape Breton and we all say it the other way and I've never owned one, only had 1 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 and a few Honda Formans I'm a 2 wheel guy Dual Sport Drz400s is what I ride and as for snowmobiles I'm a Yamaha fan, never liked the Bombadeer Ski Booms as we call them lol.

I ended up buying a 2003 version of this last spring, and it's been one of the best things I've ever bought. I've put over 1000 miles on it in the last year, and it's going strong. It's been passed around the family, and affectionately called "tank" for a reason. I couldn't be happier with mine!

Yeah the idle is a pain to dial in that’s for sure. Autoshift is a curse, mine missed a shift from 4 to 5 and made a terrible grinding noise until I went to a stop. Has me worried about how much life mine has left. Im hoping it will get me thru till I can afford a cvt quad

Really enjoy your videos. Well done. I have an opportunity to pick up a 650 Quest (‘05) for right around $1500.00… Nice shape and runs as designed. Gonna probably try for $950 but what would be your biggest concerns with this model at this day and age? Mostly used for snow plowing and pulling but it’s gotta be able to answer the call for trail & aggressive mud riding and thrashing excursions from time to time.. I sold my Bruteforce 650 several years ago and received an old Polaris Magnum 425 as a hold over. The Mag’s actually a pretty good little quad but it’s very low on the thrill factor and tops out around 43-44. What would you pick between a Quest and a Traxter if you were going to get one. (Used) Thanks for your input and i’ll be enjoying your vid’s!

@rockspowersports my friend got me to put a starter in it from Amazon I believe...I cleaned the carb and sprayed some premix in it and it fired for a second...then I tried again and it did the same so I'm guessing the fuel pumps bad...however then the 3rd time it cranked slower and then seized....removed the cvt cover to find the bendix locked to the clutch and it had broke the ear on the bendix cover off...im waiting on a clutch puller to dig into it. The engine turns over by hand with the plug out and the bendix cover off..is that a bendix failure? The starter is cooked now as well. Just trying to figure out what is the root cause altho it seems like multiple issues

Hey I have that same quad in the electric model you mentioned you have replaced the shift solenoids on some in the past, I'm having an issue where it won't disengage the clutch, it stalls when stopped, and you have to force it into gear, I have the idle adjusted as low as I can, one thing I didn't use factory oil i used Lucas atv oil I'm not sure if that could cause the issue or not
