You're 100% correct. Z6/Z7 are the best deal in cameras right now. I've had had z6/z7 and z6ii/z7ii and besides the second card slot, there is hardly much of a difference. I also have the Z8, and I'd argue the original Z7 image quality is better..with the exception of Z8's superior white balance. I've sold my mark ii versions and I've kept my old z6 for a walk-around camera.

That’s interesting with the Z8 comparison, though I’m sure that’s whatever percent faster than the Z7 (already plenty good enough). Reviewers made the single card slot the end of the world too 😂. Thanks for watching and agreeing!

Yep the single card slot was never a big deal for me...I completely understand the redundancy argument, but I've never had an XQD or CF express fail. Btw, I just got your name reference to good ol classic Vampire hunter D? 😄 @@LIGHTHUNTER.D

Do you use the techart autofocus adapter for your m glass? I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard good things

Using a Shoten close focus adapter currently. Maybe down the line, but I have a couple AF lenses (one planned for much later) that would basically cover all my needs in that area.

@@LIGHTHUNTER.D haha I'm in the same boat! But things can catch on quick. I've been watching the used market on the z7 and I'm actually surprised how people haven't caught on. Nikon gets a bad rap, but in my opinion their files are the easiest to edit and their autofocus is great too!

@@LIGHTHUNTER.D I find they have great color and just the right curve. It also boils down to how Lightroom develops their standard raw profile for the camera as well. And Nikon's always seems to be good
