I had ETC in the list for a good while as you can see in the video, but it just didn't feel as good as it does in Reno lists. In Reno lists you can put cards that are good enough to make your 30 already inside ETC, but finding the right mix of cards to be gated by a 4 mana 4/4 is tough otherwise, and I found myself always taking Boompistol in spots where ETC felt good anyway. So the code just has two Boompistols, but if you want to run ETC over one I think Boompistol for mirrors, Windchill for quick freeze, and Snowfall Guardian if you have time to set up big freeze is okay, but Bloodlust or Everyfin is Awesome are good for burst in that slot too. If you aren't running into many mirrors you can consider playing Snowfall Guardian over the two Boompistols in the main deck as well, I just don't think they're useful a lot of the time considering how strong the Murloc package is, at least around where I'm playing.

Ah the great linear deck that I only know by the order of its voice lines. “ Our gift of power enlightens us” “bee bee bah boo boo” “rarhh sploosh” “rahhhhh queue the violin” buh blah buh bleh bleh” “beeeehh uh he heh your board is dead” “beragh chomp your win conditions are dead.” These are followed by AVALANCHE” into “Rahh! An ass matey!” Then the rest is just a blur of Astalor saying our “our gift of Fire frost f***s you” with shudderwock wondering why he’s there.

Saronite Chain Gang/Twin Fin makes Shudderwock copy itself, Grummble/Zola add other minions on the field to your hand. If it copies itself first itll add itself to your hand.

What do people think is going to be nerfed in this deck? Will it survive? I’ve been trying to craft it for a long time and now that it’s tier one I’m am worried for the nerf.

Hard to say, they could nerf a little, a lot, the right thing, the wrong thing, or nothing. No way to know unless they do it. Flurgl/Toxfin is the right thing to hit but the modes manager has proposed possibly banning Shudderwock on twitter. Doesnt mean much, it was a hypothetical to gauge community feelings, but it means Shudder is on the radar.

They typically play Objection, Explosive Runes, Counterspell and Rigged Faire Game. Do your best to play around those secrets, but sometimes they just have them in the right order and you get wrekt, cant be helped.

This deck pushes you to NOT play any board deck aside hyperaggro.Cheating 20 mana worth of murlocks on turn 4 (mutanus)included isnt fun.even if u somehow clear the board,next turn they can always brilliant macaw and lead you to the concede button

Flurgl tox isnt the issue. The issue is scargil + clownfish. The amount of cost reduction + them not interacting like anything similar in the game for reduction is dumb. You shouldnt be able to play 20+ mana worth of murlocs in a turn for like 5

It definitely makes the murloc package feel far more stupid but even shudder decks only running flurgl tox destroy any board based decks. Arguably they destroy them even more since ice fishing tutors exclusively those two cards

Is there an issue at all? Wild is overrun with turboaggro as the other best decks in the format, and shudder is like the only slow deck that can take em. You nerf the murlocs, and you just make the meta even more aggro. How about we discuss nerfing some of the aggro cards alongside a flurgl or scargil nerf?

Honestly I cringed at that turn 3 devolve on a 2/2 that would heal him and a 1/2 then didn't even totem after.

Were you watching with sound off? Devolve was played there just to get it out of my hand. If Id played nothing, playing Gorloc the next turn meant I would have to overdraw the turn after. Devolve, especially the 2nd copy in hand, is not needed in this matchup, so ditching one there was just correct. Similarly, Hero Powering in this matchup just takes up board space and potentially makes it easier for my opponent to Defile. Not Hero Powering was also correct.
