As a ice barrier fan it’s beautiful to see the deck playable now after it’s been laughing stock of Yu-Gi-Oh if the deck get more support to help swarm the field and extra deck monsters it can be one of the best

Saying no one was hyped for Voiceless Voice offended me lol. The UR tax on it was complete bullshit, but I saved a ton of UR dust the past few months because I wanted to play this deck so badly. I've seen it in the TCG, I knew I would love it, and I was right, this deck feels incredible. Having a deck that can play well through hand traps, doesn't care much about Maxx C, and has strong control elements with a good resource loop, good card advantage, and good overall grind game? I'm 100% sold, it's like playing Vanquish Soul 2.0 but with more consistency, a more resilient end board, and actual negates so your opponent can't just Flamberge 50 times to drag the game out. I think the deck is being heavily underestimated because of its price point and admittedly late arrival. It has the match up spread, non engine space, and resilience both against hand traps and board breakers to be very well rounded and well positioned. They also have a free match up vs the future Tenpai as Pendulumgraph negates their field spell search and the tag out into Meteorburst negates all battle effects effectively FTKing them. Even now Meteorburst is a free 7 to ritual summon with, and on summon it triggers Blessing to do so usually adding Sauravis to your end board. I will 100% agree the deck came out late and if it came a few months earlier it would have been a tier 1 deck. That said I still think it's a tier 2 deck. It's far better than Centur-ion which many claim is tier 2. It's harder to disrupt, harder to break, can put up more disruption. And has access to strong consistency pieces like preprep and Nadir Servant, and board breakers like Super Poly if the format benefits from it. Being able to make extra deck plays but not relying on is a utility only really seen in VV and Rescue-Ace. And as someone who has played both decks for a solid amount of time, VV bricks less often, has more variance in it's hands (aka no bonfire + Wanted, Diabellstar hands getting cooked cause your opponent holds Ash for OSS), and has better ways to insulate their plays with Sauravis and Barrier protection. As a midrange/control lover with a passionate hatred for Maxx C, Voiceless Voice is no pun intended, the answer to my prayers. It's viable, it's flexible, it has a good match up spread (Yubel is far more manageable than people make it out to be), and it can still perform under that stupid roach. I think it has far more potential in the hands of a dedicated pilot than any tier 3 deck and imo most tier 2 decks.

Idk man i think ppl are misleading vv do to how manny URs it takes it can play trough a lot of handtrsps/intruptions and as for youbel just pop nightmare pain with their trap the moment the bring it out stops them from expanding too

@@jeffbartley9730 it can play through handtraps but it struggles playing into established boards and the deck has less room for non-engine/handtraps than the other top decks because it needs a lot of ritual engine requirements.

Not to mention that Nightmare Pain only causes phantom and spirit to reflect. Terror reflects if attacked into, Loving reflects and banishes, and Ultimate reflects and destroys from their own effect. Edit: (OG Yubel also reflects normally. I forgot to mention him). Nightmare Pain by no means is their only way to reflect, it just makes it easier and mandates attacking. Yubel still has plenty of gas without it. There is a reason it is a top tier deck in all three formats.

Yeah, I know that pain when you duel Yubel with Dinomorphia. It's almost the same one (in terms of difficulty) when dueling against Labrynth. You can survive the battle damage mechanics from Yubel with Intact but, eventually, you'll run out of those if you can't finish them up quickly.

I haven't played for a while, I'm at the rabbit level in ranked games. I wanted to make a pendulum deck, to be more specific, odd-eyed. Is it worth building it? I don't have any gems anymore, only ultra rare stones. There are a lot of cards in the deck that I'm missing. Now that the banlist was announced, what level would the dragon links be at?

Dragon link should be a fine tier 2 deck with Wyverbuster legal with potential to go higher depending on how good Bystials are in the meta (i.e if the best deck wasn't Fire King Snake-Eyes). I think if you want to build a pendulum deck, Supreme Kings (with some odd-eyes cards) is the best one but it is very expensive since the selection pack with them just rotated out so it's gonna be a while before they get put in a secret pack on top of the rest of the pend stuff. But if you had dlink already that can hold you out until you get the gems.

@@TheShapestofSnatches Thanks. I subscribed to the channel about two weeks ago, I really liked your videos. I already spent all my gems on centurion and I only got 3 ultra rares out of 8 and I don't have any bystial. I also saw the video where you play centurion, I liked that you can summon two blazar dragons. I don't have anything from dragon link yet, but since they released those cards it makes me want to play it, it's entertaining. The tier list helps me, it's very good, this game is difficult for me, I know little and it's quite confused with the amount of decks and combos there are.

voiceless voice can be mixed with Drytrons, even tho Drytron Meteonis Alpha Draconid would boost it sky high in MD but putting the 5k DAD aside Voiceless Is Tier 2 deck but it will be Tier 1 when DAD 5k gets in MD

Vaalmonica fell off not because it became bad it’s was played in the first place because it’s new and everything new sees some play Memento isn’t played much cause it can’t play through hts unless you draw specific combinations of cards It’s really hard to operate going 2nd and people know it’s getting really good support soon so why play it when it sucks

I said it was like the 4th best fire deck (which still made it a top 10 deck at the time lol). Frankly there are a lot of fire decks (or ones that abuse the OSS engine) that are in the tier 3 range that won't see play because FK exists even though they're no worse than decks like Voiceless or Cyberse decks.

I dont see how you put swordsoul pure below ice barrier paleo sky striker and runick. I dont agree but sure. Vv being swordsoul 2.0 isnt exactly accurate because swordsoul is better going second and VV going sevond is pretty terrible.

in a nutshell: Swordsoul has the same power level as it did from 2 years ago. It has the weakest 2 card combo in the entire tier list that is as vulnerable to disruption as an average 1 card combo is. It's worse now that even getting to Protos isn't good against a large portion of decks. There hasn't been a board from a meta deck in over a year that Swordsoul has been able to break by just opening engine (which makes the going 2nd advantage less if you still have to open non-engine in a deck that has relatively less room for it). I would not put it as a top 5 engine to pair with SHS either (even Ice Barrier is arguable in that regard). All those other decks have received real support within the calendar year or at least seen pockets of success in some competitive environment. A full runick combo wins the game, an Ice Barrier combo has more disruptions than Swordsoul on average with higher potential ceiling, Paleo is un-interactable by over half the cards in the meta, Striker topped the WCS. I've mainly kept Swordsoul on the list as opposed to other similarly low powered rogue-ish decks because it is the most accessible. (No, Mo Ye has not cheated on me or anything, I'm probably a little harsh but being an avid Swordsoul player in large parts of 2022-2023, I've also seen how far it's fallen off. It did not even feel great to play in Synchro events where it was relatively full power)

Like zefra sword soul shs etc that has done well in tournaments in the tcg. But most sword soul players are so focused on playing it pure because there stubborn. But you have the data. Fair enough

I tried pulling for Centur-Ion but i'm still missing like 5Ur's... Should i keep Pulling for Centurlon or just Dumb the rest of My gems on Ice barrier? (i already Own Trisulas both versions and Enigmaster)

There is one thing I disagree with you on this list, White boy is tier 1 this season, for sure 😂. Lowkey this pack was pretty lit. The meta sheep got hit the hardest so that's all you hear because they always cry the loudest, but this pack had so many smaller strategies that were waiting a long ass time to come into the game... They even snuck in the ghoti support, which I don't even think anyone else talked about at all.

If spright deck activate shifter and opponent only set 1 monster, it is confirm will perform OTK ridiculous easy. Ya deep sea diva been forgotten by almost all spright player, despite it starter that can summon click and echo from deepsea diva to floodgate opponent to force reveal his hand entire game link off click and Echo. I guess hero kid far more famous then deepsea diva. Dinomorphia is over as it have force dinomorphia play power filter to counter yubel, if dinomorphia did not draw power filter it is game over. Just go for horus stun, horus stun is the best way to go as it still have majesty fiend aka dinomorphia rexterm but 2 time better because it not only prevent activation monster effect from field it also turn off hand trap and gy even banish monster effect activation. Yubel so cheap it almost all tier have low rank to high rank, which make dinomorphia dead off from all rank. Ice barrier another pottential floodgate deck which very hard opponent to counter, plus it can rip player hand with thrishula.

Branded dont need the puppet lock man. What are u talking about? Branded use super ploy man. Branded yubel is better than the lock man. I beat those decks with Branded going second.

Super poly isn't good rn, all the good branded lists (like both in the top 10 rated duels) dropped it because neither Yubel nor most Fire endboards get hurt by it. You can say what you want about it but it's much easier to lock your opponent than break an entire board and OTK through it with your limited non-engine slots.

@@andreperry7995 Super poly isn't a good board breaker this format going 2nd against a lot of boards. I'm not concerned about going first as much, you set up your ideal endboard with any deck you're in a winning position. Lack of a lock and super poly being mediocre going 2nd is a much bigger concern which I'm referring to. Good players are also going to use their interruptions to stop your Yubels from hitting the field in the first place if they see you're on a deck that could play super poly

@@TheShapestofSnatches The mikanko i dueled with has many broken cards: Equip spells that summon monsters, can't be targeted or destroyed and lock you out of all card effects for one turn. Searchers like Ashoka pillar and other equip spells that search themselves. If you don't have monsters, they just summon tokens to your Field with nightmare archfiends and ojama. All that plus the usual handtraps, how is that not tier 1

I wanted White Ghoti to be good so bad but basically you want a combination of Sardine, Sunfish, or Reincarnation in your hand so you kinda wanna run 3 ofs for all of them. But Sunfish sucks and is a horrible brick so like you *should* play only 1. It's really frustrating. Man I loved Ghoti. I'm maining pure FK right now. Last season I used the Diabellstar package but I've taken it out and gone totally pure. It somehow feels better, running fewer non fire monsters plus not having Diabellstar go neg 1. And more handtraps. But Yubel is an awful matchup. I think pure FK and RACE are similar in that they have a better grind game than SE and they're better into Maxx C. But FK is better into Evenly and sometimes S Poly and its more consistent so I think there are pros and cons to all the fire stuff. I wish Salad were better. Centurion is so weird because I think pure is definitely worse than RDA Centurion but it's so much worse against Maxx C. And it's worse against Yubel cause you vomit out 3k murderdragons like it's your job.

You can say what you want about diabellstar and not being a fire/needing a discard, but imo there is no downside to playing bonfires and Poplar/Ash. Poplars don't conflict at all since you can treat them as extenders with bonfire, they're better normal summons than Ponix and provide followup with OSS (you can't draw Ulcanix every game if it's your main normal summon), and Flamberge gives you more avenues to play around nib where a lot of pure lines just have to play into it.

@TheShapestofSnatches Yeah. After removing Diabellstar I tried 2 Poplar/2 Bonfire. It's wild that Poplar is still a better normal summon than Ponix lol. I had some awkward hands where I'd have like Ulcanix, Ponix, and Poplar. Too many normal summon targets. I wish Bonfire was at 3 and then you could pretend it was old RACE and run 1 Poplar 3 Bonfires. I agree SEFK is the best deck in the game. I just think FK is more fun while still being really good. Just, not a good matchup against Yubel or Tear but I do I think it's better than all the Cyberse decks and Centurion. I haven't played since the update (Ghoti combos in solo mode lmao) but I think it's probably better than VV from what I've seen.
