The Suite Life of Zack and Cody really had CHARACTERS, usually in Disney shows, the characters are either full of teens or like family orientated. But The Suite Life of Zack and Cody had the range, Zack and Cody who were pre-teens, Maddie and London who were teens, and a whole bunch of adults as the side characters. And they all carried the show, it felt like a show anyone could watch. Zack and Cody’s shenanigans that somehow ends up getting everyone involved. I really liked London’s character so much, a little part of me could see her being the star of the show. The show was just iconic and probably the funniest Disney Channel has ever made (the spin off included, both of the shows are so funny and have such good characters)

Wizards of Waverly Place was definitely Disney Channel’s best show. The show really solidified itself as the most iconic by season 3. They got rid of the lame tropes found in other shows like Alex’s arch nemesis Gigi, made Alex care for girly things like shopping less, made Alex less controlling of her relationship (like when she was forcing Dean to act how she wanted and then instead of controlling Masons werewolf behavior, she broke up with him), and didn’t make Alex pick Dean over Mason just cuz he was there first. The show really had all of the checks, my only nit pick was with how they treated Max. The sibling dynamic in the show definitely revolves around Alex and Justin, while Max was kinda off to the side. Even in the end Alex and Justin got to keep their powers while Max got the substation...😬if they ever do a spin-off series, I’d want Max to get redeemed. Cuz he definitely has emotions, as we can see in the finale when he was upset with Alex. He even admitted to playing dumb so I wonder if him being happy about getting the substation was truthful

Personally, I liked the ending with Max getting the Sub-station? I was re-watching the show and now remember the episode where Max made a sandwich so good it was almost made the official sandwich of the New York Mets (Mets, Mets!). It felt a little bit like foreshadowing? I don't know. I guess I feel like it was a pretty perfect ending for a pretty perfect show.

Alex Russo was on another level. She was a different protagonist because she was an antihero, she was flawed, but her confidence was through the roof. She wasn't this idealized version of what a teenager should be which made her relatable. And her arch into a fully caring, booksmart (wizards study at least) person was earned and appreciated.

I am honestly baffled how That's So Raven is not on this list. Raven Symone was pretty much the queen of Disney in the 2000's. The show was straight up iconic.

I think Phineas an Ferb was the most accessible show on Disney that could appeal to both kids AND adults. It's such smart writing Good Luck Charlie is close with them bringing back the "family sitcom". the casting was phenomenal on that show!

I like that Hannah Montana has the ending be about Miley and Lilly’s friendship. Miley Cyrus ran that network with the show and her tours and merch. I feel like all of the acting in the show was really good (besides Miley, but she was tolerable). Emily Osment especially grew so much as an actress and got even better in Young & Hungry, people don’t talk about her talent enough. The boys on the show are all funny they had Jackson, Oliver, Rico, and even Robby Ray, it was great

I already knew Good Luck Charlie was going to be number 2, as it should! The show really focused on the family dynamic which is greatly appreciated. Gabe is definitely my favorite character in the show, the way we saw his character grow up was really well done to me. He started off being the devil child that was always wreaking havoc and as he grew up he naturally grew out of it. Most shows would try to either force the character to stay that way or completely strip them away from their original character design. One of my main issues though was how disrespected Bob was in the show, I wish Beau was there longer so he could actually have someone that appreciates him and enjoys what he likes.

Honestly Wizards of Waverly Place taught me more than any other Disney show in terms of life lessons - like when Alex had this whole dream version of her relationship with Dean after he moved away and then when she actually saw him again she realized her dream could never be a reality? And the one where she learned to make art her way without trying to please anyone else? And the one with that do-gooders club and how you shouldn't expect a reward for doing good? There are so many more tbh, and they did it in a way that didn't feel preachy, unlike some of the other shows

I liked the concept of the show but honestly Jessie's acting is so off putting it was the worst part of SLOD and Insatiable was unbearably awful. Plus the stereotypes were so pronounced it was impossible to ignore. I wanted to like the characters, but the racial stereotypes made me so uncomfortable because by the time I watched it I wasn't young enough not to figure it out.

i think the second time austin and ally got together it was better paced because it gave them time to come to terms with their feelings and what they seek out of each other. austin and ally are one of my favourite ships because of their friendship being the foundation of their relationship and them supporting and respecting each other above anything else. but i do agree with you that them getting together and realising their feelings for each other was too rushed and i wanted more pining and more time to realise they liked each other considering right in the second(?) episode of season 2 they imagined each other dating and were like “hell no 😐”. but also it makes sense them breaking up so quickly. (still them realising they like each other, getting together and breaking up in a span of 4 or 5 episodes was kind of wack)

Good Luck Charlie was a show that everyone in my family loved. It almost felt like it could've aired on ABC rather than Disney Channel. Yeah, it had those classic Disney Channel moments, but the adults were just as important as the kids. It was a family and I loved that.

Wizards will forever be my favorite disney show. One of the reasons I liked it so much was because they were Latinos! Like even if the kids were only half, they still celebrated their culture (the quinceanera episode but theres tidbits throughout the show) and I guess I really liked seeing that on screen when I was younger. Also aside from Hannah Montana and Suite Life on Deck, Wizards was the only show I finished before my own personal "dark ages" lol

@@brunetteartist24 Not trying to gate keep, in my eyes I thought Disney Channel was at its best in the 2000's and early 2010's, that's all. After a lot of the good shows ended I wasn't as interested in its content, but that could also be just because I got older and grew out of it a bit.

They aren’t running out of ideas it’s just because their target demographic is a lot younger than it used to be. Take liv and Maddie for example most of the main characters are teens whereas now most of the main characters are younger kids.

wizards of waverley place is literally one of my favourite shows ever. still now i will watch it and it doesn’t feel like i’m watching a disney channel show and sometimes in other shows (like austin and ally) it really does feel like i am. i think that alex is probably one of the best characters that disney has ever produced bc she had so much depth and like you said she wasn’t “perfect” and that is so relatable to lots and lots of people. i love the suite life series so much!! that’s like my second favourite and i have such an attachment to it and even now i will watch it and howl with laughter :):):)

Suite life of Zach and Cody was one of those shows where EVERY CHARACTER CARRIED THE SHOW every single character was amazing like the twins Maddie, and especially London. But the adult characters gave us some of the best moments Mr. Moseby, Esteban, Carrie, Muriel, and arwin. Not a single character that wasn’t iconic.

I think the best thing about wizards of waverly place is how it grew with the characters. We started off with regular antics around getting certain spells right and dealing with magical creatures and it slowly increased to the characters using their powers to save the world over multi-episode arcs

Phineas and Ferb is definitely the best cartoon on Disney Channel in my opinion. It’s my second favorite cartoon, after Avatar: The Last Airbender of course. The formula is probably one of the most intricate formulas of any show. I feel like the show could’ve ended during season 3 but it’s fine since they still supplied us with so many bops

So why do they take as if they have been dating for a while. It jut seems a bit confusing. Like Zach, only got the courage to talk to and ask Amy out in the time period of the movie right? So why do she talk as if she’s known him for a while, if they only actually met during the time period of the movie.?

@@prettypeach13 So the movie goes through a long time period (about septemeber to april), so ig part of it has to do with it being a few months into them dating and that's why they talk/act like that. Another thing, I think they knew each other awhile before the start of the movie, and we just see the beginning of their romantic relationship. Then you have to keep it mind this is a story about something that happened irl, so that's probably how the real Zach and Amy acted.

The top 5 (minus Good Luck Charlie as that was like 2 or 3 seasons in when I kinda stopped caring about Disney + Suite Life On Deck bc I loved it) was such a great trip down memory lane for me. I loved Disney back in the day, I grew up on it, and even to this day if Hannah Montana appears on my spotify i will jam out in the tune of nostalgia and also cause the music was so good. Wizards being #1 is very very satisfying as it was truly hilarious and refreshing in alot of ways and I really really liked it. So I loved this little nostalgia trip I got through this video ranking.

Austin and Ally does not deserve too high of a placement. The show could be very cringe at times, especially season one, The Suite Life on Deck should have been higher. I agree with you, they should have developed their relationship more. They could’ve made Austin and Ally hide their feelings for one another in season 2 and then realize that they can’t be a part during Austin’s tour and the letter is when Austin reveals his feelings. Ally could’ve became more confident and wanted to tell him but planned to do it after the tour cuz she didn’t want to distract him
