This is actually insane. Did Google first, was lower than my average 230-250 download after switching from automatic. Cloudflare literally got me up to 409 download, I’ve never actually reached a download speed this good!!

Thanks mate, if you’re far from the router just select 2.4ghz, leaving it at auto gave me 11mbps, and the switch to 2.4 gave me 58mbps.

@@devinanderson1926 The 5Ghz has a small radius, I can’t say the exact distance but you should receive a strong connection if your roughly within 15 meters of the router, anything further than that you’re better off using the 2.5GHz.

I need help my WiFi router is in my living and my room is upstairs so when I play on 2.4 ghz I get good signal strength but when I play games like fifa and rocket league my ms is too high to play and when I play on 5 ghz the signal strength is around 30 - 40% and I get better ping but randomly in game the ping goes up and down and sometimes I will randomly get kicked out the game and the WiFi will disconnect from my ps5 then reconnect idk if this is my ps5 or the game or my WiFi
