Not exactly sure why this video popped up on my feed, but I just had to comment because of the extremely well thought out review. People always want to talk about the product directly. That's great and all, but very few of them talk about what it represents in your life the way that you do, which is really kind of what people want to know deep down about something that they might be considering purchasing. I wish more people would do that instead of focusing on this specifications or the price compared to the nearest competition or all of that standard stuff. Again, all of that stuff is great, but without the perspective of what it means to you, it doesn't really tell you whether or not you will like it. I think that's what a review should really do, and that's what you have done. I liked it so much that I'm going to subscribe! 😬👍💯🏆

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words, Patrick! That means a lot to hear :) I've always felt the same way about product reviews and really wanted to try speaking from a different perspective here. So glad it resonated with you! Thanks again!!

Before this video, I didn’t understand why I need a "tech pouch" because my "normal pouch" works fine for my tech stuff. After this video, as thoughtfully designed as this is, I still don’t think I need something like this, but I JUST. WANT. ONE. I skipped this brand because I’m not a fan of their logo patch on other bags, but they should be paying you for this. Also your calm and detailed delivery, AND the video production is really enjoyable too. Thanks for this video.

I keep being so satisfied with how well this thing is designed. You nailed it. The ability to access that "lid" from opposite sides for smaller items is so clever as well.

Fantastic review of the CAP2. I have three in the rotation-tech, camera, and toiletries for work travel. I share the same feelings about the design-it's perfect. Do you have a CAP1? If not, I highly recommend picking one up. And don't let the size fool you.

Thank you so much! That sounds like an awesome setup you’ve got there. I don’t have a CAP1, but I’ve heard great things about it. How do you generally use yours? I’d love to get a sense of what it’s best suited for!

I've seen plenty of reviews about the CAP 2, but yours is without a doubt the best. Specs are great and all, but hearing you describe the emotional response an organizational pouch elicited in you, that's what sold me. Good product design is functional art and I really wish more companies kept that in mind when designing their products.
@StevenSchultz11 күн бұрын
Wow, thank you so much! That’s so kind of you to say, and I really appreciate it. Great video, and I love the thought they've put into creating something that's actually useful both in transit but also during work. I wonder if there's a way to utilize the slope created in the open position as a laptop stand
@StevenSchultz14 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! Totally agree, there was clearly so much thought put into this little pouch. Even though it has a good bit of rigidity in the open position, I don't think it would be enough to hold a laptop comfortably. That's a cool idea though!

While I do find the design great, and the review well done, i need to point out that it is not a new design per se. On top of my head I can think of a last year kickstarter project, the "Alex S1 minimalist sling bag", and the Japanese Hiraku nano Pc bag, and there are probably more designs that share a similar concept. I say this not to put down the designers at Evergood, but to say that one needs to be careful with categorically stating that something is new and innovative in todays age.
@StevenSchultz13 күн бұрын
I totally hear you, and I appreciate you saying this! For what it's worth, this Evergoods pouch was released 4 years ago and predates that Kickstarter you mentioned. I hadn't found anything exactly like this Evergoods design in my research beforehand, but if you could share a link to the Hiraku Nano PC, I'd love to check it out! Thanks for watching!

75$ is more than double what this should cost. It’s unbelievable how much they’re charging for stuff like this. It’s almost offensive that something that should make working easier and more affordable is costing that absurd amount of money. This is not just a thing with this specific brand, but it’s a problem concerning the whole industry. Really a shame
@lesact12 күн бұрын
You missed out another big advantage: stability. So if you're travelling on a plane or boat or bus, this opened pack will not fall over. Then that leads to another thing you touch upon - the subconscious feeling of re-assuance or pleasure in using a well designed object. In this case, even if you are at home or in a hotel using this, the fact that it is stable feels good, even though those places do not roll around. Also, you can't accidentally knock it over, plus maybe your cat can't knock it over. Our subconscious is calculating all this stuff in the background, even if we aren't!
@StevenSchultz11 күн бұрын
YES!!! Oh my gosh, I wish I had highlighted this point more. You're exactly right. The structure and shape of it provides so much security, which in turn allows you to use it more confidently in more places. Spot-on, my friend!! Thanks for pointing this out, it's such an important part of the bag; especially because my cat has absolutely tried to knock it over before, and has not succeeded, haha! Thanks so much for watching!!

A men's handbag that you can't attach to your body like the belt or cross-body is a tough no-go
@StevenSchultz11 күн бұрын
You actually could attach a strap to the top of the bag, if you really wanted to! I haven't done it myself, but there are two short pieces of webbing on either side of the top handle that could probably accommodate a strap of some kind, if you wanted to wear it like a crossbody.
