The guys at ShredLights reached out to me after I uploaded this video to let me know that the standard mounts can be mounted onto the front of my board. All I needed to do was place them the other way around and there would have been enough clearance between the deck and the lights. I'm happy to keep the flat mounts on my board, but I want to let anyone who might not have flat mounts, that the standard ones are just as good!!!

@@ronanhutchinson I've got the 200's and considerin the 300's and/or 1000. eskate shop is the only UK store I know of that has them, where did you get yours? Brexit has made them hard to get in England 😭 I see you used the flat mount, I like the standard mount, flipped, to put the lights closer to the deck. Maybe the 300s are thicker

I got mine directly from ShredLights. I tried to use the standard mount first, but I just couldn’t get them to fit onto my board. There just isn’t enough clearance

But the flat mounts fit perfectly for me!

@@ronanhutchinson Lucky you, I used to be able to order direct but since Brexit people in England can't 😭 yeah, I'm guessin the SL300 S clip is thicker so doesnt fit anymore like the SL200 would. Good info to know, thanks!

Good video, thanks! Would be nice to see some more "night skate" footy with these. FWIW, Shredlights has a couple short videos and info on their website to steer you towards the best mounts for popular boards. They also sell a clip mount that is meant for a backpack strap or the bill of a baseball cap.

Thanks!! Glad you liked the video. I’m planning another video where I take them out for some night skating very soon. Yeah, they have mounts for EVERYTHING! Its awesome!

I'm gonna have to grab a set of 300s. Just gotta board and I live north of 60 where it gets dark early in fall.

They are amazing! I love mine. I’d also recommend grabbing some R1s for the tail too!
