Maverick really is too damn good! Only reason it wasn't my first choice was because #1 was able to make an absurd, bonkers story feel grounded & full of heart. Takes enormous writing talent & is a rarity.

Maverick was a Tom Cruise film in which Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise as Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise in a Tom Cruise film. Other than that, good list.

I actually see your point, Tom hasn't really been a good actor since the early 2000's but I don't know, he just has this charisma that I enjoy seeing on screen. Thanks mate!

I want to see The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Nick Cage taking the piss out of himself has got to be good.

I had a huge laugh at the cinema, and sadly it was actually a flop over here in France. There were only 3 people at the cinema, me included. It's a shame for such a good film.
