2013 Scion Tc Gen 2 (2011-13), very basic intake and exhaust modifications that free up some ponies, puts down 200Hp and 181pound-feet of torque, factory sports tuned suspension, factory 18" wheels, sounds amazing and does 0-60 in 6.2 seconds, I have pushed this engine to it's limit (with just basic Bolt-ons) and the car handles amazingly, it has a very large sun and moonroof, amazing headspace, great visibility and was top safety pick in the coupe class in 2013, amazing 8 speaker Bose sound system, and great gas-mileage, bullet proof 2AR-FE engine and the automatic transmission is the same as in the Legendary Lotus Evora and is capable of handling quite a bit of boost without changing or modifying (330WHP+). Has factory forged rods, only requires forged cam and pistons for boost, inexpensive aftermarket piggybacks for easy DIY tuning with tons of different maps available for different set ups, SUPER EASY TO WORK ON AT HOME

Manuals tend to be pretty reliable, but be prepared to do clutch jobs. On most Japanese cars this is pretty cheap / easy. Most automatics are basically indestructible, so they're very reliable, but so boring. As for hills / traffic, you'll get the hang of that within a couple hours of driving.
