@@UlfhednarTV it's written on Gushing Wounds that only crit chance matters to make it x70% more bleed amount. Crit dmg doesn't change that amount of bleed when you hit the target.. At least I don't see the changes at skill DOT numbers when changing gear for crit dmg.

This build looks super fun. I’m a new player and I fell in love leveling my barb but got a little sad when I heard it was the worst in the season compared to other classes. As long as I can grind tier 7s do some pitt I don’t need to push the highest end perfect max roll I’d rather have fun! I’m gonna try this!

The power difference is crazy this season. I did the council tier 8 on my lightning spear sorc in like 60 seconds earlier. Barb can’t even beat one in that time 😂 appreciate the build though. I miss my barb

I've been using the maxroll build, and even with armor maxed and resistances almost maxed I'm still super squishy and die to everything. I'll try switching to this version once I get some new gear in and see if it works out better for me

That is due to new sword Shard of Verathiel making a basic skill such as Flay deal more damage but costing resource

Hey hey they are 100% neccessary as its our main damage for this setup. Basic skill gems are for Bash builds or Frenzy

hey thanks for the build! its been fun and really good so far, i have a couple of questions: you say you have 5 sapphre gems and 1 emerald because 5 sapphire is enough for you to reach the cap, what cap are you talking about? i am tryin to swap between 6 sapphire and 6 emerald on all weapons and check the damage on the dummy and it seems the damage is way higher using the emeralds, i feel like there are some bugs on vulnerability math calculation. Another thing is i am currently at 51% crit chance and 1200 crit damage and i seem i cant go higher than that, do not reach bil damage at all, highest flay i have seen is 300.000.000. Might be nice if you can show us your stats Thanks again!

The cap I am talking about is Hemorrage on paragon board that requires 356% vulnerable to reach that cap of 45% in the node. Greater affix on crit dmg and masterworks is the way to increase it even more. Thanks for watching

@@amibaiocaiDOTA as a pure rupture you would need a totally different build but its faaar behind flay. Flay is just top bleed build right now and we use rupture for attack speed buff plus biggest damage once we stack flay bleed. Thanks for watching and I will add the sheet next time.

@@UlfhednarTV Good pair of Fist of hate, Daze on boots (no need for CD) and even put a random effect lucky hit temper on leg and you have a nice potential of creeping death aspect on a polearm (you ditch crimson but its hard to use anyway, get more flay duration and use executioner in paragon). Dunno what that could give. That 40% from creeping death could become 120%

Is this better than Bash Barb? I’ve been hearing Barb is in last place among the classes this season by far. Which is sad. I still want to play it, but I’ll have to switch classes to push into pits/T7 smoothly. Really hoping for a buff sometime.

Barb can do T7 smoothly even T8 to be honest and the "top" builds are bash, flay and WW with heavy itemization though. But it is true that barb is at the bottom this season. Gotta let other classes have their 1 season fame haha

Crit dmg is still the most important stat due to gushing wounds 2nd part if you read it. I might try fists of fate with creeping death aspect on 2H instead

Man Barb is so bad this season. I feel for the Barb nation. 😢 druid is so much better so is sorc and rogue. Hope they buff their core skills and look into the passives they nerfed so bad.

Harlequin crest adds + to skills so I just drag steel grasp on the bar. IF you dont have harlequin put points from slaying strike to grasp

Really struggling with survivability. Not really sure why as I'm following this build to a T and have essentially the same everything save maybe what greater affixes Ulf has for his items. My resistances aren't all capped to 70% but 67.2 for a couple shouldn't make a huge difference right? :/

@@coreymiskell410 you gotta make sure you have enough cooldown reduction and hitting things constantly to proc hectic aspect combined with rupture on group of mobs guarantees nonstop uptime on defensive layers such as challenging shout and iron skin with that we are practically important as you can see in the showcase

@@passingby_music3575 if you dont have masterworks then yes it is normal to die in 101 pit but I wouldnt say easily as with this setup and insane cooldown reduction we have challenging shout and iron skin up nonstop. You are probably tanking stuff and standing in it which no class can do as shadow boss spells put a stacking debuff on u the more debuffs the more damage u take

Why call it a Flay bleed build when you are using Rupture more than Flay? Not saying Rupture is bad. My first unique was the Rupture unique and got me from Level 20 up to tier 4.

@@UlfhednarTV the problem I had was if I started with no fury, I’d have to take damage to generate fury, on harder difficulties I’d die too fast and use iron skin, then I wouldn’t generate any fury. I did and uber boss with some friends and literally couldn’t use flay one time. I added fury generation on gear, but I’m guessing that isn’t working right or something else is causing this. In horde it destroys. Still need to change some gear around, best build I’ve tried so far

@@좋무새 Thank you sir. I find stacking strength giving more damage especially if its on ur amulet than attack speed as with rupture and rapid aspect thats all we need. If we had less unique weapons aka more flay duration then we would need even less AS but thats from past season
