I am obsessed with the Este Lauder, Dior Backstage, The Nars sheer glow I tried because of you as well and I cannot be without it. All of the Maybelline foundations, Covergirl foundations are amazing!! I still love the Revlon Colorstay and even the Milani one is gorgeous. I have been using and loving the Makeup revolution conceal & define matte & hydrating foundations, the Catrice Hd liquid foundation all fantastic for oily skin! Of course the L’Oréal freshwear is BOMB! I honestly have more drug store foundations that work for me than high end.

I have dry skin too but I do enjoy double wear as well. I domt wear it all the time and I do have to make sure I moisturize well because it can look a little heavy and cakey but I still love it..

I love Sheer Glow. The key is to apply with your fingers. I put it on almost like I do my moisturizer. Very small amount will go a long way.

I have oily/combination skin and I stand by 5 ouf ot these 7 foundations (the other 2 I just haven't tried yet). The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation truly gives one of the most natural & beautiful finish ever! It is not the longest-lasting foundation out there, but if applied right (with the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer & Nikkia Joy Setting Powder) it could last up to 10-12 hours beautifully. The new Dior Forever Foundation (Matte ver.) is another one of my holy grail. Beautiful finish, blurs pores, lasts the whole day--it's everything you ever want in a foundation!

I also like the l'oreal infalible foundation, and the shisheido synchro (I am not sure about the name), BUT my ALL TIME FAVORITE is the Estee Lauder double wear...I wear it for 2 years now, and I can also swear by it!!!I use it also when I go to the gym..and I get sooooo sweaty...I am like I have been thrown in a pool!But the foundation IS ON and has not moved A BIT!!I do not know how estee lauder does this, but it is incredible!!

I have oily textured skin too. I tend to like more natural/sheer/buildable formulas - so some of my tried and true ones this year are on your list! My favs this year are: Dior backstage, L’Oréal freshwear, and No7 matte. Often times I’ll mix some of them together and I’m always so happy with how them perform on my skin type!!!

Islandgirl our summers here are triple digits and I usually start mixing in Smashbox studio skin with the Dior! Oils will break through much later, but it doesn’t break down the foundation - it’s an easy blot/re-powder and good to go!

Estee Lauder double wear 100% agree. I love that stuff! The Mabelline ones, I love the Urban Dream Cover, but I find that I do still get quite oily with it on after about 5 hours. The Superstay, I'm a little indifferent about that one. I get oily and I feel like it gets all weird on me after not too long. For the Loreal, I haven't tried the fresh wear. I like the matte on in the squeezy tube, but you can definitely see it. Like it has a bunch of little pigment dots. Estee Lauder takes the cake for sure.

I have oily skin. I like to mix foundations to make the matte foundation blend better. My holy grail combo is: juvias place w/ dior backstage. 2 huda &cover girl age ,3 it cosmetics cc matte w/ charlotte tilbury flawless foundation. 4 laura mercier flawless fusion. 5 milk foundation w/ l'oreal foundation (the new one everyone loves) 5 hourglass stick foundation w/ maybelline 24hr superstay. YES IT DOES! Sadly I went into surgical menopause after a hysterectomy, and this is one of 2 foundations that can stand the buckets of sweat that suddenly decide to pour down my face! Maybelline superstay is the other!💜

I would like to suggest another one, even if it is not marketed as a foundation (it's considered tinted skincare): dior dreamskin cushion. It's great because it is buildable, and it lasts beautifully on my oily skin. I also use it to touch up or refresh other foundations, if I have to go out at night and I don't have the time to redo my make up, you would not believe how good my face looks at the end of the night! It also has an effective spf, I love it

My 2020 started out with an allergic reaction to something, swelled up my face, had to miss work but if I'd have went in I'd have missed this! This year I am breaking down and trying the double wear! I'm a oily mess every day and have heard it's amazing soooooooo....and that Nars foundation. I've also wanted to try it as well. I tried the Dior but by the end of the day it was just a hot mess (on me) regardless of the primer, powder, and/or setting spray. I now split my usage between the Nars sheer and the maybelline dream. I like the Nars for workday wear because I’m inside most of the day and don’t worry about SPF. For the weekends and vacation though, love the maybelline. It holds up pretty well against my oils.

That l'oreal fresh wear foundation is my holy grail foundation. I wore it once up to 12 hrs and it just didnt feel heavy at all and its very fresh looking even without retouch. Definitely a gem in the drugstore

Being you have oily skin, i am surprised that you enjoy the Maybelline dream urban cover! I really love it, but i find that it doesnt last very long on me and i have combo skin. It really is beautiful though. It just breaks apart on my nose and forehead much faster than fhe usual satin matte foundations i go for. Now i want to wear it today and get it to work lol.

So I tend to gravitate towards satin finishes. Lightweight but but smoothing.

With my very oliy and textured skin, I have always find myself disappointed with certain foundations that has been recommended by other beauty gurus and it felt like the never really understood how it is to actually have oily skin. Foundation shopping for me used to be the most stressful thing ever. But thank to to you Nikkia, i buy better makeup now that works with my skin. Every single foundation you listed on this video is my favourite and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone out there. I'm glad that I found your channel. One request though, could you also do a video on some of your ride or die makeup brushes? From foundation brushes to eye brushes. I love the Stay Naked foundation too. I like that it’s a medium coverage. Half the time I don’t even set it with powder. It makes my skin look natural and you can’t even tell I have foundation on but you can really build it up for a full coverage.

Hi! Love your videos! Have you Tried the Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Treatment Primer? My skin used to be even more oily than yours and I couldn’t wear ANY foundation without looking like a greasy mess but after trying every primer and foundation (even Double Wear!) I stumbled across this miracle in a bottle. No oils will come through except a very small amount and that’s only after you have worn your makeup for almost a full day. Please give this a try Nikkia! Let other oily skinned people know!!

I wish Estee Lauder Double Wear worked for me as good as everyone else swears it does. It mostly doesn't break up, but my oils come through around hour 4-5, and of course it transfers. Super bummed about it.

I have yet to find a negative review of Superstay... And that negative will probably come from me. Settles on my pores so badly and emphasizes them. Tried it with different primers, no primer, topped with finishing powder...nothing works. What does work for me is the Revlon Colorstay. Until I find a better one, it will remain my HG. Same for me! Revlon colorstay is still my holy grail. It even looks better after 2-3 hours when my natural oils has come through and mix with the foundation. I just blot with the Clean and Clear blotting sheets and Im good to go again. Superstay just doesn't work for me. It sets so quickly making it hard to blend. It cracks and transfers during the day and settles on my pores. I live in the Philippines where its all hot and humid all year long.

Talking about the worst products isnt negative, it letting us know why something doesn't work for you and if maybe we look for that in certain products or not. It helps us out so much. Alot of us dont have the money to buy and try everything. So in my opinion it's not negative at all. An i know you probably hear it is negative too. I'm an oily, greaseball, slippery, fried egg too. I tried Double Wear and hated the way it felt on my skin. I had to wash it off, immediately. The only thing I've found that I can deal with having on my face is Loreal Fresh wear. I have over 30 opened foundations and I just hate putting anything on my face. There's gotta be something wrong with me for me to hate that feeling of putting things on my skin, I hate it so much. I want to look better by putting makeup on but I hate how it feels. I get the heebie jeebies.

I have tried the Loreal Infallible 24HR Freshwear. I do love the coverage and finish but I can't find th right shade for me.

Me as well. I also can't find my shade In EL double wear. I have tried at least 10 shades. I'm on the olive side and not enough foundations have my shade. I have to mix alot and it becomes a pain.

L’Oréal infallible 24hr does not have my shade either, I either look pale or too dark

I was matched to 51wy in the stay naked foundation at one of the urban decay counters only to ignore their advice because after a few hours it looked too dark on my skin so I ordered 50wy and it’s a v good match. I also wear Mac nc30 so that might be a better option :)

My favourite foundations are: 1. Revlon Colorstay Foundation 2. Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation 3. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation 4. Maybelline Superstay 24 hour Foundation (the only thing that sucks is the shade range but it’s still a good foundation)

I wear double wear Estée Lauder and maybelline 24 hour i did try revlon but didn't like it. And believe me my skin is so oily is horrible . But i love this products,

I feel like Dior backstage is very similar to Pat McGrath but it's more buildable than Pat's. I am actually thinking of picking up the Dior. I got a sample and I am really impressed with the Dior backstage. Hopefully, you can compare both

I still prefer the maybelline matte and poreless. It's not full coverage but I love the finish and how it lasts.

Happy New Year Nikkia!!! I wasn't surprised that you mentioned Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. It is my personal favourite and as someone who has a very oily T-Zone it is absolutely AMAZING!! They also have a fantastic colour range and which is great for black women like myself who struggle to find great foundations with the perfect undertones. I love your reviews!

I do too. I'm in that lovely phase of life where I'm still oily but now also have fine and not-so-fine lines, and this foundation works really well for me! A lot of foundations that work well on oily skin will emphasize lines or collect in them and this one does not. It's also the only one I trust with my glasses. No foundation transfers off onto the glasses, even if I wear the foundation all day.
