A few corrections: - Open source apps are not always free. - They still often contain tracking. - They can still have ads.
@ducky16812 жыл бұрын
Ads and tracking, if the app is open source, can be removed by anyone. They can just make a fork without the ads and tracking.
@sanjacobs62612 жыл бұрын
@@ducky1681 If it is libre, yes. Open source, no. Open source apps can still have a restrictive license that doesn't let you use or edit any of the code, only read it.

1:00 open source applications are not always free, nor free applications are open source. the source may be open, but licenses should be considered as they tell you to what extent are you allowed to use the code with, or not use it at all edit: great content btw
@BramKaandorp3 жыл бұрын
To add to that, there's no reason to think that FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) will not have ads. While it's true that many of them don't, that's a choice made by the developer, not anything inherent to FOSS.

I love all your videos and I have been following you since years, but a lot of times one of the first things I'd like to know is which phone are you using in "x" moment of the video. I can't be alone in this petition, but I'm sure a lot more people would also appreciate if you added in the description which phone are you using in "x" part of the video. As I said, your videos are excellent in any aspect, but I believe with that little feedback they would be 100% complete. I know most of the times they are flagship phones, or the latest ones, but sometimes I love the look of the phone but don't know which one is it. Also that would reduce the amount of "which phone is that" in the comments. I hope you take the suggestion into account and keep the excellent work!

However this little pop up does show up saying website's name, other than that it's just Spotify premium. Also, in notifications Spotify do tell you to buy premium but lil they know.
