Too right mate, those 2 are warriors, to come back from what they did is amazing. I want to shoutout some bravery on a lesser scale, but still very important, Jeremy Howe, he had what could have been not only a season ending, but a career ending injury, not only that, but it got infected and made things harder to come back from. He contemplated retirement, but his family encouraged him to go again and he came back, not only that, but got to play in a Grand Final for a shot at redemption.......He took a nasty hit during the match and broke 3 ribs, it looked bad, he wasn't getting up for a bit there.......but he said "NAH MATE, NOT TODAY" and played on.......THAT is bravery. Well done Jeremy Howe Premiership player.

How good was the Grand Final though? I think even if we lost, I would have found it hard to argue against if someone said that it's the best Grand Final this century. Maybe I'm biased because we won, but it's definitely up there. 2018 was a great Grand Final, 2010 Draw was excellent. 2002, 2005 and 2006 were Elite........But man this one.......may just beat them all.

How good has the recruiting been?? Oleg Markov, a castoff at 2 clubs, comes in with the final list spot and becomes an important regular 22 contributer. Chooka Frampton also considered not up to it at 2 clubs, comes in and provides key depth. Tom Mitchell, fills a hole in extracting the footy where we were getting smashed at stoppages. And Bobby Hill, the icing on the cake. Amazing forward work, lethal around goals and his pressure and aggression to keep the ball locked in our forward 50...... Fantastic work by the club

Nathan wasn't a terrible coach by any means, but we needed a fresh start and I'm glad we've got that. Eddie McGuire, love the guy, but he had to go, I think a few others left as well, Nathan gone along with his assistants, now Craig Comes in with new assistants, changes things up and now we've made back to back Prelims, 1 of those resulting in a flag. He's a genius.

I noticed something, not just here but also after the award ceremony, Bobby hid the Norm Smith for most of it, he took some photos, but put it straight back in his guernsey. I'm sure he's super proud of winning it and happy, but I think he doesn't want to make it about 1 player, which is classy as hell, he's only 23 years old and that builds relationships with your teammates. He's probably saying to the other players "Mate, you could have won it, you played a rippa game, but it's not about the Norm, it's about this" while pointing to the Premiership medal. Mate, he also brought in an aging Tom Mitchell who he thought 'this guy isn't done yet, he still has a lot to give' look at what he's taught Jordan De Goey and Pendles about being inside mid players. Pendles has always been a great ball user and outside mid, but now he's changing his game up in his twilight years and adapting as he is slowing down, so he's finding something else to do and gone more inside mid, I'm telling you, Tom Mitchell's experience has been a massive blessing, people don't see it, or undersell it. He has been crucial for us. Bobby Hill has been a gem, a diamond in the rough if you will. McStay missed the Granny, but he has been a very solid pickup, brings ball to ground and gives Elliot, Hill and Ginni good opportunities to crumb goals. McRae and his group have turned us around, loving it.

@@petermcculloch4933 It was neither. A free kick was paid to Brisbane for a trip. While kick was paid, the ball ended up in another Brisbane player's hands, and kicked it into their forward 50. Because of that, the umpires paid advantage, but the argument was made that Brisbane didn't even know it was their free kick. At face value, the umpires made the right call based on the actions after the free kick was paid, but Brisbane may not have known it was their free kick to begin with.

Frampton has the physique but seems to do nothing to even learn how to mark. And he lacks so many other skills. He needs a real development coach for intense practise of a list of skills and then exposed to team mates to test him. But honestly there is no intensive skill building at any of the clubs. The pies need to do what the Spanish soccer club do. . Massive corporate cash injection and recruotmeny of experts into development ( no 1) and more culture change to really build the club into a juggernaut.

Iv always been a collingwood nuffy and always will be but since 2018 gf loss I feel like it went to a whole new level it genuinely hurt 😅 but after yesterdays win I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders I could only imagine how the players are feeling, I’m so grateful for fly and everything he’s he doing, in every work place it starts from the boss and works it’s way down and you can see from fly to Darcy to leggy being the last person on the list to the volunteers at the club then to the supporters just how much this means to everyone, love this club, always side by side 🖤🤍
