I feel like the big question for consumers is something you touched on. What games do you play, what resolution, and what FPS do you want. Then you can adjust your budget accordingly. I also have a giant backlog of games, so my 2019 higher end PC i9 9900k 2080 super. I am still playing games from around those years. Just finished bio shock infinite playing at ultra 1440p on an ultrawide. Now working on Jedi fallen order. I am all for spending money. I am looking at getting a 4070 ti right now since that seems like the most practical upgrade for the money right now since I play at 1440p. great video and great info

It does, according to all reputable sources (and AMD themselves) the 4090 is far and away the most powerful graphics card. Especially if your game is running modern things like Raytracing, primitives, etc...

I want to build myself a gaming rig having just built my son one. His spec is:- R7 7000 Rx6800 32gb ddr5 6000mhz 2tb m.2 7000 Read and write 850w psu. My question is I really want to build the high end righ you have shown but what about motherboard choice? I'd like to run 7000+ mhz ddr5 and maybe a 14000 read and write m.2. What would you recommend?

In the mid-range build, you can switch the amd 7700 for the 7600. They deliver roughly the same performance and its way cheaper.

@@Mill7va Case is ridiculously quiet, if that's what you're asking about. Great airflow, I don't think the fans have ever had to ramp up past 50 or 60 percent in gaming, have only ever heard them at all on startup.

You said the BEST pc build but then didn't use only the best parts in the top end. Got the processor right, the motherboard was ok, not the best. the ram fits and is what I used. Storage is not the best, should have gone highest end regardless of price to be best. But most importantly, you cheaped out on the graphics card. So what you actually recommended was the next best thing to the best pc build.

Mid game was a bit too expensive here in Australia the 7800 xt costs about 820 dollars during Black friday! I would opt for a 6700 xt perhaps currently about 550.

Very sensible parts for each build. Too many people waste money unnecessarily on parts when they will not get the performance. Buy parts based on value. PC's get old quick so dont bother with "future proofing".

Im looking to make a high end build with the 7900 xtx and 7800X3D but in the fractal north case! Though im having a hard time figuring out which motherboard I should get, would the MSI B650 gaming plus wifi be good enough? Or do I get the tomahawk version for 40 bucks more? My pc will be cabled so im not sure if I need the wifi option? Any help would be so appreciated!

Not an exact answer, but I can say I recently built with exactly those components on the Tomahawk board in a Lancool 216, and it's been great. From what I've seen, you should also be fine with the Gaming board, but I don't have first hand experience with that one.

72.7% (104.0fps) off gpu hierachy. check the games you want to play to see if you can get to 165hz but anything over 120hz at 1440p I think is great.

Im currently getting ready to upgrade my 6700k build from yesteryear 😅 As i use it for editing audio/video/streaming an gaming i thinking about a 7900x with a b650E for my D.A.W/video editing side of things. I’m about to build my first rig, I bought and off the shelf set up and it needs replacing. Found your Chanel whilst looking for help. You’ve been awesome in that respect. But I’m kinda stuck now. CPU,GPU. I’ve two ideas for this. Ryzen 5 7600x with a RX6750XT Or Ryzen 7 7700 with a RX6650xt What I’m your opinion is the better option with play to performance and upgrade ability in mind. Depending on if you want to overclock or not. For example myself I have an all white 4090, 7800x3d, 4 sticks of 16 gigs for a total of 64 gigs at 6,000 mhz and I have the white nzxt b650e motherboard. I have no need for an x670e since I am not overclocking.

@MrAnimescrazy it's not just about that though. X670 boards have more m.2 slots, more usb ports on the back and better ones at that. And more connections on the boards itself. There's way more than just oc potential
