I bought a Deadeye for my Meta 3. I had a hard time setting it up, but once I figured it out it worked well. Last week I swung into a table and broke the 3D part of the club. I called the company to see if I could buy just the 3D part. Thy sent me one for free.

Honestly, at some point, receiving a 3d printed part as a consumer product is unacceptable… sure having the small volumes it doesn’t make sense to have a molded part. But doing a machined plastic or even having it vapor polished, it would help with the strength…

I'll give my initial impression after playing one round with it last night. So I am moving over from the Drivr Pro 3, which I have been using since I got my Quest 3. First of all, 2 things I love that are really nice improvements from the Pro 3 are the ratchet strap system and the controller cup being in a fixed position. The cup would always comes loose and start to slide after a while of use on the Pro 3 and need to be re -centered and re-tightened with the allen wrench. So far I can say that it feels and performs much better for normal golf swings/shots. I am finding my shots to have a little higher trajectory and a bit straighter as well (I always had a big fade before). The one downside for me, and this will be exclusive to me and and potentially anyone else moving over from the Drivr Pro 3 is the feel for putting is lost. There is something about the weight distribution difference that has made the feel on putts worse. It's like going from a putter with a heavy head to a light head. So my distance control is all over the place. I am curious if more washers can be added (I am already using all of the ones supplied) to make the end heavier and hopefully get that feel back on the putting. Other than that this thing is great, I HIGHLY recommend DeadeyeVR to anyone looking for a golf club attachment for their Quest, they make great products.

@@zitus_lupidus01 if you have the room/clearance in your play space to accommodate the Drivr Elite, then I would go for that one. Since you are going from just the controller, you won’t have the putting issue like me, it will be an improvement for you.

@@maxflier thank you, as well, I noticed in the settings of golf+ there’s no drivr elite attachment to choose. How do you recommend setting it up? Also, I do golf outdoors, not just vr. Are you sure I should go with the drivr elite on that note for putting?

At 13:46 were you able to "read the green" without using the controller side trigger? Looked like you lifted up the putter and it briefly showed. My biggest concern with this is not being able to quickly glance at the grid before putting without flipping the club around. I pre-ordered one of these. Excited to get it!

Yeah, you just lift it up and it brings the grid up.

For those on a budget, get the cheaper one and add lead tape to the end for realism. You can also tape some coins if you don’t have lead tape.

Hey , does the game have realistic physics where if you swing to far to the left right , or too high or too low, you can miss the ball completely or chop the grass completely?

How many of the "weights" are you using? Just got mine today and it looks like it comes with 20 of them. I used 10 for now, but curious to hear what youve settled on. They dont have any setup instructions published yet for this one, so I'm mostly going off yiur video haha.

I have the AMVR attachment and it's fine but has some quality issues. Just ordered this attachment. If your playing without an attachment then you're just playing Wii. The attachment makes the game a million times better.

I have the amvr attachment and it works well but the cup that holds the controller already has slop in it and it lets the controller twist. It drives me crazy being able to feel it move around

I am using the yezro golf attachment I have to say I am enjoying it so far but I am considering jumping boat to amvr or deadeye. Do you have any comments or concerns on amvr ?

@@CATOHUNTER007 it does pretty good for the price. It just had a lot of play where the controller sits in it. The small movement does change the angle of the club head. All in all it’s not that noticeable.

Love the video. Did you adjust club length settings in game? You hit the ball pretty straight.

Thank you! I didn’t adjust any setting, just set it up with the custom club setting and started playing. The shots shapes are surprising accurate to how my ball flight is irl!

I got the yezro attachment it works the golf grip feels rubbery. The screws do come loose but screwdriver will fix it. The weights I love em personally but some people say it’s to heavy. Swinging the golf in golf+ feels good

You should be able to push up on the ratchet mechanism and rotate it the opposite way!
