I play this deck as well, but I use 1 venusaur and 1 catterpri to make the deck more consistent. Once you open bulbsaur u can search the rest of the line

Do you think combine with Lilligant to make sure you charge the energy quick is better than poison,? You also need Koga to put Weezing to your hand to Attack. (I mean does it worth 3cards for 20 extra damage)
