Chasm skulker, mycoloth, blighted agent and vorell of the hull clade are also good ezuri options

John Hui Chasm Skulker was in the original build I had for this, it takes a bit of work to get value out of it, when normally this deck wants to rush a bit more. Vorel's another good option as well, as is Mycoloth.

Champion of Lambholt & Herald of Secret Streams are so good in this kind of deck to get your big creatures through I would add cards that give trample anthems to increase your chances of hitting your opponent instead of being chump blocked, like Bramblewood Paragon and/or Nylea, god of the hunt. Inkmoth Nexus and Blighted Agent are very serious threats when you can pump them up swing in. Last recommendation is Kalonian Hydra.

i always have the issue of board wipes with this deck. all my mana ramp is creature based so its very tough to recover. since creatures are the fuel in this deck, you have to add more destruction and protection in my opinion

Kalonian Hydra and Projenitor Mimic with Rite of Replication kicked. Add trample on with either new Zegana or a sorcery like overwhelming stampede and you attack the first turn with 6 64/64's, more if you combine with Ezuri's ability and other effects like Master Biomancer, Inexorable tide or other mimics. You can then use this to swell your ranks with creatures like PSZ, and bulk up token gens like Avenger of Zendikar or Mycloth. With enough counterspells on top of this, you can pretty much wipe every other player off the map.

Cultivator of blades is soooo amazing in this build. He provides 3 experience counters when entering the battlefield, and before the attack on the next turn it grows, buffing all of your attacking creatures

Question: for master biomancer, in order for you to trigger the exp counter of a creature and master b is on the field. Can you try holding his ability before the creature enters ? Then the exp counter ability triggers 1st?

I tried the elf theme with Ezuri, Claw of Progress. Was a fun build and play, but not as good as a non-elf build. An elf build pretty much should be all elves to be synergistic just like any other tribal build. There are to many Simic and blue cards not to run that synergizes better with this general. It’s fun and fast but vulnerable.

I recommend playing all unblockables and dorks with some proliferate and card draw in Edric, Bident of Thassa, Coastal Piracy, Bred for the Hunt. This deck doesn’t do well with all of the toolboxey cards you have. Strange to exclude From Beyond when you talk about Wrath effects and how bad they are when those 2 enchantments make it easy to rebuild after one. Flash in Ezuri with Alchemist’s Refuge or Winding Canyons and get an experience counter on your upkeep.

Andrew G no it actually wouldn’t be. Blughted agent is unblockable so you play him then kill everyone. Glistener elf you play him and then die because everyone hates infect and they can chump block the elf all damn day.

If it’s a huge problem in your local meta, you could consider swapping in some spiders. Since this was built as a rampy wide-aggro deck it doesn’t have that many defensive options.
