I've been making something similar, for many years. 5lbs of peeled potatoes. 2lbs of 85% ground beef. "2" cans of white corn (drained) After potatoes are done, set aside. I brown ground beef and drain fat. I place "1" stick of butter, milk (little at a time) I use a hand mixer, mix until creamy, adding milk and sometimes another 1/2 stick of butter. Black pepper to taste, also, salt (I salt the water while the potatoes are being cooked) so, taste before adding more salt. After potatoes are mashed, I add the ground beef and the corn. (This makes a large amount, so I have food for a week, for myself) I'm a senior citizen and live alone. So, when I eat next time, I just add a little milk and microwave.
