Great to see you getting out with the up and coming generation. Pretty sure I ran into this group at the yellow gate on Burke +/- 3 weeks ago. The skills are impressive… probably beyond anything I’ll ever achieve.

You have quickly become one of my favorite MTB youtube channels, and I watch a lot of them! Honestly the video quality you put out is incredible. It seems like you have the POV angle perfected and it makes it blissful to watch. The audio is great as well, and your narration comes across super smooth. I always look forward to your videos now!

Your camera settings are MINT! I know the KZbin hype train is on Insta360 but this quality is above the recent uploads from similar channels. It doesn’t feel obnoxiously distorted while still feeling crisp with a great field of view. Strong work Dale and congrats on the new sponsorship with Onyx! Silent hubs FTW

I often wonder when I will see you riding in these videos with internal gears in the frame instead of derailleur gears. I think that may be the future of mountain biking.
@DaleStone Жыл бұрын
I've tried a gearbox bike before and they aren't quite the future. They might be one day but certainly not yet!

The view of the fire-road at 1:52 is the epitome of go pro effect. Looks like a casual jaunt along a somewhat flat gravel trail. So much steeper IRL. My Ontario-ass only made it up 3 times before I had to quit

@@terrybull4604 head to Kelso and practice climbing there. If you want to make the most of your laps you'll need to train. If you don't want to train, ride places that are shuttle able like Burke, Fromme, Squamish (Shred Shuttle). Ebike rentals would help too. Or, just ride Whistler. You'll get more smiles per calorie there than anywhere else.

The plan was alice lake 1st 3 days on a rental analog day 4 rental ebike in North shore and day 5 ebike at diamond head. Spend lots of time at kelso and dundas Valley. There is only up!

The rear hub of my 2002 Stumpjumper is an Onyx hub. Would that be the same brand?

To my knowledge they didn't make mountain bike hubs that long ago, I'd bet that's the hub model and not the hub brand.
