I have the manga and anime. They’re both really good, and by “good” I mean disturbing, anger inducing, incredibly creative, cute as pie, and terrifying. I’m so glad to see Alien 9 is still making the rounds on KZbin. Great work, dude. 🤩 Addition: I had no idea there were more chapters after what was translated. Thanks for the info. I just found them on Manganato and am going to read them.

It reminds of something I watched, but it has no controlling aliens and parasites, and takes place in place, "the girl who leapt through space", not popular, but I think you'll enjoy it, though its not horror and stuff. Maybe a little horror, cus it has a girls mental get messed up and stuff. It was fun to watch this as a kid.

alien 9 anime was so unique and interesting never seen anything like it before or even after,, anime got a different vibe from the manga and imo anime was better with its tone, direction, music, and adding original moments to elevate the manga. for a more optimistic alien-ish, sci-fi anime checkout eureka seven. one of my favorites really recommend

I actually watched this back in the day and have some of the books It was 1 of the 1st series To have a cute cuddly Outside but dark and scary inside. Some of my personal recommendations I can give you Venus wars It's different from the movie. Outlanders which is basically a serious take on Those obnoxious aliens. Visible copies can be a hassle fine nowadays But they can be found in their entirety on Mangadex. Also If you like superheroes Wingman might be worth checking out Though it's a hassle to find. But if you want something more accessible There's batman death mask And secret reverse the final work of yugioh's Creator.

Nicely done on the review!!! I think this is a niche series as well. This was my childhood tbh! Watched the anime when I was a kid, read the manga when I was in college AND IT IS A HELLUVA RIDE Also Milk Closet is pretty f'ed up too 😭 They all need hugs and therapy!

Read it before watching the video (to avoid spoilers). Read the full series. Was heavily disappointed. For years I saw praise of this series and after reading it I was frustrated. It's very evident the author was having some good ideas, but ended up failing to deliver. Some things just made no sense and the author seems to be struggling with connecting ideas.
