because this thing has APS and retains the 5s reload. chally 3 is just a normal chally 2 with a longer reload for a much powerful round in which the l27A1 is already plenty enough to pen at the BR. the CR3 wouldve been 12.0 if they didnt nerf the HP back to 1200 but here we are

@@skydesu7523I agree the Chally 3 isn’t all that much to speak of. Because it solves 3 issues, retains 6 issues, and creates another. Chally 3 improvements over the Chally 2: • Better ammo placement (I think you get blowouts despite IRL it not being confirmed, but most likely not the case based on photos). • Better gun & ammunition (previous challengers have one of, if not the worst APFSDS rounds at top tier). • No pisspoor 3-4 round ready rack. You can fire more shots with a consistent reload of around 6.7 secs without having to deal with 10 sec plus reload after 3 shells fired. Issues it’s retained: • Bad mobility, Top speed being the same 37mph while everyone else is zooming at 40mph - 47mph. The neutral steering is slow per usual, so turning around for a snap shot isn’t gonna be as fast as something like an Abrams. • Bad Targeting Speeds for a NATO MBT in its BR range. Bad turret traverse speed, & bad gun elevation speed. Aka sub par reaction time alotted. • Huge Glaring Weakspots. The LFP is huge with no protection other than a poorly angled thin plate of steel. • Hull armor itself isn’t great. To say the least. Unless you’re firing low grade APFSDS. You can aim anywhere on the hull unless slightly angled. • Huge weak mantlet highly susceptible to autocannons. Despite photos displaying otherwise that the mantlet is just hollow steel (model dependent). • Hull ammo still exists. To a lesser extent but still is an issue. A New Issue Arises: • Longer reload to pay for the larger ready rack, and better gun + ammo. Overall, it had potential. But it’s still maturing. Gonna be till 2028 till we see what is practically gonna be done.

Since they added the spall liner to the turret cheeks a lot of the spall from breach shots get eaten, Turret is not stronger than the leopards at all, but much better than the abrams' ones

What tree should I go with? UK or US?

If it's your first tree probably don't go with UK, the US tree is overall great, but the winrate at top tier is really bad because of the premium players.

US. Definitely. There are many good vehicles in the US tech tree. Speaking about UK, there are plenty of good planes (e.g. Spitfires and Meteors), the ground tree has just several good tanks e.g. Rooikat or Black Night, also FV4005 is funny to play. Actually, there is a Falcon SPAA which is really powerful against ground vehicles on its BR. So, in my opinion UK ground should be grinded as late as possible just because it is boring and hard.

Don’t play USA as main USA a void USA it’s trash tech tree u will suffer from lack of gun and speed and when you get good guns it’s already 6.7 and that still sucks all of them heavies and 7.7 pure garbage tanks and only 8.3 good line up in USA and not worth the grind and suffer go ussr Sweden or Germany great tanks and if you love no armor but fast and quick reload tanks go Italy or France dc about beginner bullsh.t you will suffer in USA from 5.0 to 12.0 all garbage tanks only handful tanks good and not worth it believe me it’s newbie trap 🪤
