It’s helped me personally lose weight and get the gear that I aim for. I’d spend like 30 bux a week on food outside (NYC expensive) and I paid off some stuff within like 3 months

For anyone having issues with micro HDMI and feeling like it's too fickle or likely to disconnect: I switched to using 90 degree micro hdmi cables/adapters for field monitoring and I've never encountered an issue again. The 90 degree adapter gets out of the way of you flip screen much better than a traditional cable, and the angle provides a sturdier connection because there is less potential for it to be tugged straight outward buy the cable since the force would be perpendicular to the port. Hope that helps.

Best camera for both hybrid camera work is the LUMIX G9 (for a smaller form factor, the LUMIX gx85/9 IMO! 👍

Hello. Since you are all professional video makers/editors, may a ask you an off-topic question? I'm looking for a laptop to do 1080p video editing; the videos won't be too long, just one-minute, similar to KZbin shorts. I have a pretty low budget, so I came here to ask you if one with a Ryzen 5 5625u with no dedicated GPU (but igpu Vega 7) will be powerful enough without taking days to "give birth" to the video. Or, there's the same laptop, but with a 5825u, also with no GPU (but igpu Vega 8 and 150 euros more expensive).

Great question! I would lean towards the A7cii, better build and weather resistance for vlogging. but the ZV-E1is a tad lighter and has better low light performance

Great camera for sure, but as full frame cameras with bang-per-buck go I think Lumix currently own's the moniker of best. Granted I have my biases (as do we all) but spec wise I think the S5II/S5IIX deliver more at a lower cost. Active cooling, full sized HDMI, dual memory card slots etc If we move outside of full frame I also think the X-H2S is a much stronger choice too. I've not been been mightly impressed with Sonys last 4 releases tbh. I think they are a little overated. Still great, but not the typical Sony standard.

I’m Christiaan, from South Africa 🇿🇦. An airline pilot by trade and have recently rediscovered my interest for photography. Love your honest opinion and open minded reviews and the overall feel of your channel. Keep up the great work. May I kindly ask for your advise please, I would like to start posting photos of my flying trips, from the flight deck, to outside the aircraft as well as around the airport and landscapes from the different regions I visits. A cellphone camera I feel is too limiting and a full DSLR is too big, also I want to start a blog and post photos and then sell copies of the photos. So quality is important and size for prints. I realize this is a steep order and request. What type of compact / travel camera would you recommend? Between canon and say Fuji? Then potentially only one lens as my first priority is the responsibility of the crew, passengers, the aircraft and safety of the environment so I don’t want to changes lenses etc. 18-55? Might be bulky… Thank you for your time in reading my email, I look forward to your feedback and suggestions. Blessed regards

I have a deep appreciation for both cameras. With the A7IV, it boasts a sturdier body, a higher-resolution viewfinder, improved ergonomics, and the invaluable addition of dual card slots. On the other hand, the A7C II offers slightly enhanced in-body image stabilization (IBIS), a more generous burst shooting buffer, additional video features, and the new AI autofocus, albeit these features don't significantly impact my shooting style. For my needs, the advantages of the A7IV, particularly the dual card slots, superior viewfinder, and ergonomic improvements, outshine those of the A7C II.

What bothers me much more about the A7CII's viewfinder than its lower resolution is that it's missing a sun/ eye shell. I can't understand why Sony did this. Even my old A6500 has this eye shell. I know, there are aftermarket shells for the A7cII which you can attach to the flash hot shoe, but they're all oversized and very ugly. And blocking the hot shoe of course. No option for me. Believe it or not, but this missin shell is really the deal breaker for me. So I will rather buy the A7IV instead.
