Great video and a great channel overall. You have exquisite taste, I must say. It's also a good reference for sizing since I'm the same size and weight. I do have one question, though. I ordered the U Oversized coat (both brown and grey because I loved it so much) in XS. After watching your video, I think I should have gotten the S instead. Do you think there's a huge difference? Was XS too small for you? The problem is, I can't really exchange it now because the S is completely sold out in my country. Still waiting for them to arrive. 🤞 Cheers!

Wow thanks so much mate, really appreciate the kind words! I'm not exactly sure how the XS would fit as I always go for a Small with Uniqlo regardless. For a long time I actually was considering sizing down with this coat, but had the same issue as all the XS's were sold out in the UK! The coat is massive tbh, but still, I think the XS will fit you fine!

Quite a few places do similar mac kind of coats. I'd have a look at Arket and Cos for some other options around this price! But there's also a ton of the 2nd hand market if you have time to sift through everything!

In my experience, I find that 100% Lambswool sweaters sheds the most. If you dont want a lot of shedding , 100% Merino wool and 100% Cashmere shed the least. Wool blend sweaters also shed a lot.

Honestly, every guy should try out the uniqlo women's double breasted trench coat. Personally, I think the men's coat here looks terrible. It's 100% cotton exterior and has already survived (and kept me dry in) rain for me. Combine that with its chic look and it's a no brainer. I'm just sad I bought it before it went on sale today 😭

To each their own. As someone who's not at all into the really oversized trend, I think that coat in Brown is absolutely gorgeous. The drape and texture are amazing. Maybe you have to wear it to understand but I'm in love with it lol you have to be a bit tall to pull it off well but that's true for all long coats I think Thanks for the tip on the women's Trench though. Ordered the green color in XL. A dude thankfully dropped a review there saying he wore a size Large in mens coat and the XL was a good fit for him so, fingers crossed. It's $80 at time of posting for anybody interested

Love the chore coat shape, as you said a shame its cheaper wool but I'd still take it over a synthetic equivalent. Glad to see someone else who takes construction materials seriously! I would expect wool to be hand-wash only, I would never (except socks) throw my wool garments into the washing machine! Might have to pick myself up one of those drape shirts in brown if they restock, think it's gotta stay tucked in tho 🤣
